This manga is so good. I figured he'd put up a fight and earn the respect of the horse king, but I'm glad it went this way. Now Komatsu will have to cook up a body double and find the Chrono Torkio Trigger.

Either that or He's going to have his anime moment and transform into his inner monster again. I mean, half the mans head is gone, brain included.

I figured Toriko was going to lose, I didn't think he was going to be stomped

Heracles obliterated him by literally scoffing at his intimidation attempt. I doubt God-Horse even saw it as a fight, he just wanted to make Toriko stop harshing his vibe.

Pretty sure Center was the necromancing ingredient. On one hand it would be neat if Toriko was actually dead for a while, but on the other hand coming back from the dead is a bullshit mechanic I hope we never see in this manga.

Well Heracles looked pumped up before the ocean breath and then quickly became disappointed, so Horse-God was looking forward to seeing what this fool human could do.

I'm completely at a loss right now. I really thought that I had a grasp on this, but nope. It just shits on my expectations every week... in a good way I think.

I guess this means that the rest of the muscle harem has something similar inside them as well?

I am completely lost, but in a good way... never fails to disappoint me does toriko, all of this poo poo out of the blue but it completely makes sense?

Red oni/blue oni is so drat clear, as to cure water, already brought up as existing bit of an asspull that we didn't see it earlier but not something out of the blue either

This is the first time I've seen a character's hair color become a plot point when the color wasn't white. That's pretty neat.

I really liked it last week when he got wrecked by Heracles. It showed just how big of a gap it is between him and basically an animal God, so I'm a little upset that Toriko not only got revived out of nowhere but he got an insane power-up that lets him connect a punch. Shits whack yo'

RED ONI said that he only has to last a couple of minutes, so I'm pretty sure even Toriko's new blue form isn't enough to do more than distract THE KING OF ALL HORSES

To be fair Heracles is probably not the kind of animal that bothers with dodging attacks.

All heracles has done is snort in torikos general direction, and toriko got enough of a powerup to brush off heracles exhalation and sucker punch the horse. He's nowhere near the strength needed to do anything other than survive long enough for carrerrroo to get back now that komatsu has cooked air.

I don't see why anyone thought it was ever food imagination. Why would Toriko foodmaginate himself to be dead?

Unless I'm misunderstanding how that whole thing worked, I never liked it anyways.

It wouldn't have been Toriko's, it would have been the horse's. Would suck pretty bad if Toriko had a worse imagination than a horse.

I have a friend who only watched the Toriko anime and I would go through the Manga on a reread and save all the awesome faces enemies made after their arcs aired (Tommyrod, Livebearer, Chiyo, etc) and eventually got him to read the Manga because of that. He said that was one of the better decisions he made regarding the animes~. I got him to finally read One Piece too after I made it clear time and time again that the anime was complete and utter poo poo after Impel Down...

This was what I thought and was worried about. We knew there was going to be some way Toriko would be back in fighting form. Many thought it was going to be Komatsu making delicious Air. I thought that the horse imagined "This is how easily I can wreck you. Don't piss me off. :horsestare:". Was just glad they took it in a different direction.

e: Or even intimidation like Toriko did on those soy illusionist things in the beginning of the arc. How they were all skewered and being fed to Red Oniriko. They weren't all killed, but they sure thought that they were. Then they cried delicious tears and all was well.
