prefect posted:What is the difference between a "wrap" and a "burrito"? Serious question. I've always found that wraps are like a nice, well thought out meals rolled up for easier consumption. Burritos are more like two pounds of delicious meat, cheese and shame rolled too thin, for optimal mess. Remember, if you don't kind of hate yourself, it wasn't a burrito!

tbp posted:Well, yesterday, my girlfriend left her cell phone in a cab in NYC (we live in NJ), and she's been having a real lovely few weeks, so I volunteered to go and get it, and I got in touch with the cab driver and got the phone, also in the morning before I did any of this I went to my class, and then I went To The Met after getting the phone, I viewed a lot of Roman sculptures cuz that is definitely my poo poo, and finally I did work for my job. Thank you and have a nice night. That sounds like a real pleasant day, and a nice thing you did. Hope you got to enjoy the sun you were talking about earlier.

Illegibly Eligible posted:Just had a snowstorm here in Wisconsin. I love nice winter snow for skiing, and I love the spring for being not winter anymore, but this in-between overcast poo poo that basically just results in a layer of loosely-packed ice over the mud is making me jealous of mosquito bites. Yeah, it snowed all day here in Toronto. They say we're getting freezing rain later too. Now I feel bad for whining about the rain yesterday.

Maybe, but it's not impressive if it isn't done as a kegstand.

LucyWanabe posted:We should go back to that one that they did in ancient Rome where they filled the stadium with water, stuck real boats in it, and had miniature naval battles with boats that sported flame-throwers. Hey man, Toronto has a bunch of land we're trying to deal with, if you can figure out how this is a better idea than a giant, insane casino complex you might be able to make this happen.

Wouldn't a PYF goonmeet just basically be show and tell, but at a bar?

So I just bought a Britta faucet filtration system, and noticed that the manual has a section for the buyer and seller to write their information, for sales in Iowa. It says that for the sale to be considered consummated, this section must be filled out, and should be filed by the seller for at least two years. This is my new favourite mystery, because I have no idea what's up with Britta buying laws in Iowa that this is necessary, but since I'm Canadian, I fear I'll never learn the truth.
