Prospects
Jaskin - Got a few games in with the Blues already this year. Two points in three AHL games.
Rattie - Four goals in 11 AHL games.
Siemens - No points. -6 in 8 AHL games. Ouch
Thrower - PPG from defense in the dub through 16.
Gibson - Dominating the AHL. The best goalie prospect in the NHL.

The future looks pretty bright, right now they'd be a 10th seed. Besides Gibson, Murphy was probably my best value pick. He has looked great for Carolina. Peter Harrold and Mike Weber are atrocious. Connolly didn't make Tampa (although got called up recently) and did poo poo all in the AHL.

a lot of his success is probably due to Benn but I think he could so some similar things with the Big Hoss.

Brett Connolly was by far my worst pick I don't know what the gently caress happened to him, he's not even scoring in the A now.

I'm kinda surprised with how competitive/mediocre every team is. Don't really see a big front runner, we all had our hits and misses.

I think with Miller it's probably a playoff team. I'm thinking their GF/GA would be pretty close to what Dallas or Columbus is doing. Hossa/Seguin/Vanek all own, then it's hope RNH can do well with second line matchups. Fisher/Fehr is a solid core for a third line. Connolly was a disaster pick (although he's doing alright in the AHL), which means someone like Bergenheim would probably be moved into the top 6 or top 9. Campbell/Carle/Murray/Petry is a competent top four - definitely some great puck movers in the first three. I hope my coaches would have the sense to play Harrold over Weber. God I hope. My prospects are looking pretty good. Jaskin, Murphy, and Connolly have gotten time in the NHL this year, and Gibson/Thrower/Rattie are on a real nice pace.

Optimal NHL lines would be:

Vanek-Seguin-Hossa
B.Schenn-RNH-Fehr
Greening-Fisher-Bergenheim
Reaves-To.Pyatt-Bernier
Brent/Plug

Campbell-Carle

I'd be in favor of allowing UFAs to be drafted, as well as unsigned prospects. Like people are saying the cap didn't really come in to play, and it'd be weird if no one was drafting someone like Stastny or whatever.

Yeah I would prefer we fill out the entire roster but if the consensus is the other way that's cool. Most 4th line/scratches are going to be unfilled because why take a plug when you can take a prospect.
