It angers and saddens me (as a Canadian) that victims maimed by these attacks might also be bankrupt by health care bills that insurance won't cover. That is hosed up beyond words. I cannot believe that is actually happening in America, and that people fight against a universal health care system that would avoid this.

Is that Boston One Fund the best place to donate if I want to help alleviate that bullshit? I've already donated to Red Cross but I want to do more after hearing about the hospital/recovery costs that some people might be facing.
