I still think it was a mistake to make one of the Elite 10 members a dessert specialist. Being a pastry chef is so far removed from what everyone else is doing that its going to be ridiculous if and when she gets into a Shokugeki with anyone else. And honestly even though she's fairly specialised I feel like there's a number of shokugeki themes she could at least cook for. Like not even just stuff like chocolate or sweets, but if the theme was fruit or something she could still work with that. It probably just won't be anything to do with meat.

If I were writing it I'd have him forced under Azami's thumb, we get the rematch vs. Soma, Soma wins, Akira is wrecked emotionally because if he loses the teacher gets her life ruined by Azami, we see that attempt to play out (making us hate Azami more) but then Alice's mom or some other big food industry person makes the save and guarantees her a prestige job until the academy will have her back (maybe some internationally focused thing, like how she found Akira on a trip), and there you go. Bonus points if we don't find out that the teacher was held hostage until after he loses, and he just kind of acts like a jerk to the heroes and like he's committed to central's side until then. I mean it's not a new story to tell, but it's believable that the characters involved would act that way, and gets us to a food fight we'd want to see.

Ever since Erina started hanging out with Polar Star guys and became best pals with Yoshino she has become cooler. And now that she has stopped moping and is getting stuff done I think I can even say that she has become a good + funny character that I enjoy.

Yeah, i'm sure all the Elite 10 are fantastic cooks in general. But if they ever compete I imagine it will be in their specialty, or in some situation where their specialty gets to shine. And although Soma might want to learn desserts at some point I still don't think he'll face Momo. Honestly of the remaining Elite 10, I hope Soma doesn't face too many of them himself. I can definitely see a rematch with Tsukasa and Eizan at some point and maybe a match against Rindou, but i'm hoping the rest will be saved for other characters (even though they might get multiple fights each).
