I kind of like this meta-setup. We're betraying someone just to see what happens because we need to see what happens, not that we can explain that to anybody. Wonder if there'll be other little flashes now that we've unlocked Sigma's precognitive abilities. Probably not before plot locks.

You know, all this talk about poor Luna forgets that we never got a non-evil answer for the old woman's murdered body found in Luna's AB room. All we know is that she didn't have much apparent opportunity to move the AB room itself. Nothing that clears her of the actual murder. Just saying.

The thing I still don't get is how the handkerchief figures into all this. Did Luna kill the old woman, move the box over to the left, and then take a handkerchief over to the (now) rightmost box to put some blood there? Why would she do that?

In one of the timelines she stays with Phi and Sigma, and the room still moves. The only timeline in which the room doesn't get moved is the one in which we team up with Alice. I'm honestly not even sure if any of the characters could have done it. And More fucked around with this message at 16:48 on Jun 1, 2014 |

Given the gaulem bay and the reactor room, it seems like the rooms we've been exploring are actually functional places rather than just decorative sets - has there been some kind of machinery/maintenance room? The AB room was moved too early for whatever control room to be behind the remaining white door, but I don't know if we've even seen every iteration of what the other chromatic doors have to offer

VLR OST: [Desperation] Listen in (mandatory) : [English/Japanese] ... Y-You promised... How could you...? ... Why won't you say something? ... Say... say you wanted to protect everybody... or you slipped and hit the wrong button! Anything! I don't care if it's a lie! Just... Just say something... ... ... ... ... You did it so that you could get more points, right? I wanted to say no, but I couldn't. She was right. I shut my eyes and turned away. I trusted you... ... Goodbye. Luna's face twisted as she spun away, but not before I saw tears glistening in the corners of her eyes. Listen in: [English/Japanese] Isn't it obvious? I'm going to look for Quark. Hey! Wait! Listen in: [English/Japanese] Yeah. So? I want to help. No thanks. ...R-Really? ...Nah, much as I'd like to say that, I need all the help I can get. Think you can give me a hand? Of course! Let's go! They headed off through the magenta door together. I turned and saw that only Phi and K were left. VLR OST: [Placidity] Listen in: [English/Japanese] He went off toward the yellow door while you and Luna were talking. He just... walked out? Yes. He did check the results before he left... If Phi had chosen "betray", he'd be sitting pretty with 9 BP right now... I imagine he would. Fortunately, Phi is much too clever for that. That was why I chose "ally". It was an easy decision. But if you'd betrayed her, then you'd have been able to get out of here. Perhaps... But I made a promise to Phi. A promise, huh... ... ... Of course not. I'm not an idiot. I didn't really have a choice though. The only option was to trust him. That so... Yeah. Don't you think that's important? Trusting someone, I mean. ... ... Indeed. Best we split up, wouldn't you say? But no matter how hard I looked, Quark was nowhere to be found. Eventually, I decided to head back to the warehouse. [Music fades out] VLR OST: [Eeriness] What's going on?! You... you found Quark?! Listen in: [English/Japanese] Wouldn't be here if I hadn't. Where was he?! Like I'm gonna tell you that. Wh-What...? Did I do something wrong...? I don't like people who break promises. There was no rebuttal for that. Well... I'm glad you found him. Hah. You got some balls saying that, acting like you give a poo poo about him. ... Is... Is he okay? He looks tired? He's just sleeping. Seems somebody shot him up with some kind of anesthetic. Someone...? Who? Hell if I know. And honestly, I don't really care anymore. Why not? Quark's safe. Wait... You make it sound like you can get out right now... I can. Well, he can. How? Didn't you see the results? Quark's BP is-- ... So you're gonna have him pull the lever and open the number nine door? Yeah. 'Course, he's gonna need my help to do that. But... what about you? You've only got 4 BP. Even if you can get the door open you'll... You're thinking, "Oh ho... If my BP is too low, then I'll just have someone with enough BP open the door... ...and I'll just slip through when it's open..." Well that's not gonna lapin! If you think you can be sneaky, well... It doesn't matter though. So long as Quark is safe, then I... My guard was down. Hurgh... Guuuh... I let out a strained sort of wheeze and collapsed to the floor. Blinking against the pain, I managed to find Tenmyouji again. He'd maneuvered Quark up to the number nine door. Hnng... Guhhh... S-Stop...! Tenmyouji...! Moving made me retch, and before I could recover and call out again, he'd done it. Tenmyouji's hand pressed Quark's against the lever. He looked back at me over his shoulder. Listen in: [English/Japanese] Door's almost open, so it's time I was on my way. Tenmyouji... don't... don't be an idiot...! If you go through there... you'll... Believe me, I know. But I gotta stay with him as long as I can. Couldn't live with myself if I just tossed him out there unconscious, you know? Then... stay here... Can't do that. Why not? It's too dangerous. I can't take that risk with Quark's life. The number nine door has been opened. It will remain open for 9 seconds. See ya. Tenmyouji! Wait! Don't do this! Tenmyouji! Tenmyoujiiiiiiii! [Music fades out] This ends the Nonary Game. Thank you for your participation. As the game is over, all doors other than the number nine door have been unlocked. Escape is not possible. Please enjoy your stay. VLR OST: [Demise] ... ... That was how it ended. Had Tenmyouji died? Had Quark escaped? I didn't know. I lay back and closed my eyes. There. Was that so bad? Another bad ending for the pile. There seem to be quite a few of these. At the very least it's another branch of the tree closed off. So then... Where to next? cd ~/magenta/ally/red After successfully allying with Luna, go through the Red door with Alice and Clover cd ~/magenta/ally/blue After successfully allying with Luna, go through the Blue door with Alice and K cd ~/magenta/betray Betray Luna after escaping the Lounge cd ~/yellow/ally/green After being betrayed by Tenmyouji, go through the Green door with Clover and Quark cd ~/yellow/ally/blue After being betrayed by Tenmyouji, go through the Blue door with Clover and Tenmyouji cd ~/yellow/betray Betray Tenmyouji after escaping the Infirmary cd ~/cyan/betray/blue After successfully betraying Alice, reject Alice's suggestion and insist on taking the Blue door with Luna and Alice cd ~/cyan/betray/green After successfully betraying Alice, reject Alice's suggestion and insist on taking the Green door with Luna and Clover

I like how even the game itself guilt trips you for betraying Luna. Also, how on Earth does Tenmyouji think it's a good idea to leave a kid Quark's age in the middle of nowhere? That could be innocent - maybe they split up and this time, Luna took the way Ten took in his failed attempt, or it could have been sinister - not that it matters. Sure, let's get the second Luna betrayal over with. The only other betrayal on the list is against Ten, who voted 'betray' on the Ally path.
