A lot of times I'd roll my eyes if a character lived through this, but honestly it wouldn't bother me a bit if he pulls through. Also, I'm in awe of this cliffhanger. The way it kicks the pace back into gear after the more mellow 13 and 14, the way it manages to be brutal and shocking without being an arbitrary rear end pull. Just superb. I am really awed by the reveal that head-Stalk was a parasite all along. Holy poo poo.
