Yeah there was something I think 2 years ago where this happened - similar in that he only played a few minutes or was on the bench or something - official ruling was that he didn't affect the outcome of the result, so was only a fine. Mind boggling though that teams can still make mistakes like that.

I'm hearing that the difference is that incident was with being un-registered and this Legia guy played in a match he was suspended from (for fighting a St. Pats player).
