I appreciate what they're going for, but that is not a good trailer for this game.

Agreed. Payday doesn't really evoke feelings of pathos for anyone whenever I play it, it makes me want to recreate Heat. poo poo, I wish the game didn't count off for collateral damage.

If anything, they should have just amped up the "bad-dudeness" of the game, like the trailers for Kane & Lynch...

The game might be bad, but those trailers made you want to play that game.

Oki, thank you.

Can anyone critique this build please : http://goo.gl/9J0n9I

poo poo, if we're doing this, I'd like to see if this build is good as well: http://goo.gl/FsP8eQ

I'm not really a shotgun lover, I'd rather use automatic weapons with lots of ammo, beat the gently caress out of people who get too close, and be heavily armored while moving fast. So, I went with 11MM/81EN/6TC/22GH, with Cat Burglar, Sprinter, Endurance, Rifleman aced; the Enforcer middle tree completely aced, the Enforcer strength tree aced up to Tough Guy, then owned up the Carbon Blade.

Goddamn, the randomness. We were playing Bank Heist and we bust open the vault door, only to find the inner door secured. Queue setting up the drill. We finally get to the safe deposit boxes, have to pick those lockboxes. By the time we got the stash, a dozen yellow shoulder SWAT guys come rushing out of the back door, followed by another dozen regular SWAT guys. We just get loving wiped.

Also, I countersniped a sniper with the starter pistol. It was the most awesome kill ever.

At certain points, I've started hip firing and remarkably scoring kills. It's the strangest loving thing. And I'm not talking shot funnels and chokepoints like the bank vault in Bank Heist, which felt fun firing through the bars and nailing every cop coming through the back door. I stopped using my scope at one point during Jewelry Store and was reflexive shooting guys across the street. Just feels so loving badass to do it.

Does anyone know where I should concentrate my efforts in Mallcrasher? I tried playing it last night solo, and it feels doable, but everything is spaced out and not obviously breakable. The only places I could find that I had any effect was the jewelry shop and the china shop. Are they're any more high-value targets?
