I have a Loco sidearm for loud, close-quarters heists like Rats and Firestarter. It's not bad--most effective at a range of OH MOTHERFUCKING poo poo--and does easy two-shot kills from the hip on yellow SWAT with zero mods, but I'm probably gonna dump it eventually in favor of a Deagle or a pimped-out Crosskill because I'm putting zero points in the Enforcer tree with tons of +Pistol and +Autorifle skills. You definitely want a weapon for medium-to-long range kills for a number of maps, and a shotty secondary isn't gonna cut it and primaries just aren't accurate enough at range. (unless you a ballin pistol snypa like me)

I guess it depends on the secondary and tertiary parts of your build; if you're going Enforcer as deep as I'm going Ghost, a shotgun primary might just be right for you.

I get similar results on lower difficulties with a CAR-4/UAR. I'd probably get crazy damage output if I could find a few muzzle/barrel upgrades. I can appreciate being able to one-shot-one-kill most enemies, but I love sniping fuckers so much I worry that I'll just run out of ammo (60 rounds on the CAR-4/UAR usually equals 40-50 kills... and then I don't bother to pick up any). How's the ammunition economy on the m308? Is it one round per drop, or will I get two or three?

Also, your post above this one infers that the m308 DOES get bonuses from Assault Rifle skills? I thought it was in its own class, but everything else applies as normal? Because that's really helpful for my friend's build if it does.

It ain't THAT low when you take the silencer off, you can normally kill pimple with 5-6 rounds to the head as oppose to the 20 rounds it takes with the silencer on. I'm just saying that skill is a major oxymoron, it's a damage-bonus skill that only activates when a weapon is silenced, but in order to silence a weapon you must incur a damage penalty that far exceeds the previously mentioned damage bonus; which begs the question, why even equip a silencer or invest in the deadly skill in the first place?

It needs revision.
Well, I like it because when paired with the +25% Pistol Damage skill from Mastermind, it makes silenced pistols back into viable sidearms instead of just only for a stealth opener, where if you gently caress up then all you have is your primary and a lovely desperation pea-shooter that does nothing but waste your Enforcer's ammo bags.

Still, I think it would be nice if the Ace of that skill would be "mostly negates the damage penalty" so, when paired with the first level of the skill, it did like 5% more damage. Maybe change the two sniping skills so the first one is a prerequisite and make the Ace for getting both "negates damage penalty."

The coke landed all the way out in the middle of some cop spawn points (it looked like two bags, but it was actually like seven stacked on top of one another on the exact same spot, so that might be something Overkill could address), but we somehow managed to drag it back to the holdout spot. Did they make the getaway van (no armor) hardier? We accidentally loaded all the coke in the middle of an assault and it stayed alive for at least a minute while I told my crew "Nah it'll probably die--huh, it's still alive? Actually gently caress it, chance 'em," and then all the time it took us to run down there while popping cops and getting into the escape zone.

As far as heists I'd like to see goes, I can't say I'm too picky or even sure what I'd enjoy doing, but maybe intercepting a weapons shipment at an airport, sneaking past security, all that kinda poo poo, maybe needing a Smooth Talker to hijack an air control tower. It's not that much of a waste; the idea behind Dominator is that it's used either to stealth guards before a heist or to get emergency hostages once you're busted. It is absolutely not for getting individual cops to surrender during assaults (though now it's possible to get them to surrender during one, domination attempts straight-up failed during assaults in Payday 1). Bagging also makes it easier so a guard doesn't wander into the bathroom, see his buddy's corpse and immediately radio in.

As reliable as the patient method is in Framing Frame 1, my friend and I just go guns blazing after yesterday. We spent an hour doing it the careful way, then worked out a very aggressive method over the next thirty minutes. It only takes about five minutes to clear the entire place--most of it is just steeling yourself and growing the balls it takes to play that map aggressively--but basically after you lure the first guy, there's 3-4 more patrolling (we actually had five patrolling excluding the one in the front lobby on a Pro Overkill yesterday) and you just go around in one direction busting cameras as you walk. One guy takes point, one guy watches the first camera you broke, and anyone else sticks with one of those two in case two guards show up. You'll quickly corner them and you'll have free reign of the place in just a few minutes. Best part? If you gently caress up, you're only out five, six minutes max instead of the thirty or forty it takes to run the heist slowly.

Put gold mods in the game, make them Infamous items, have them cost 5-10x the price and provide like +1 (-1 recoil and noise... and maybe +10 visibility :v:) on every stat compared to the non-gold versions of the same mods. Also, put in precious metal versions of every gun (maybe Infamous drops, maybe just unlocked with level progression--maybe even something as simple as just the regular gun levels +60), where they're functionally equivalent to the regular guns except they cost like 10-100x the base weapon's price. Not necessarily gold with those; maybe a nice titanium or silver/platinum, or even a shiny sea green-lime corroded bronze color.
