I tried playing the original a few minutes ago (having gotten it off the humble bundle) and uh, man this game has not aged well. One of the flying enemies is like, two dimensional to the point where I can't see it when it's flying side to side, only when it's facing me.

If you're talking about the ghosts that shoots red balls at you, they're supposed to be hard to see and hit.
