ICE TILT  Their first goal, the guy was driving outside and got bumped off the puck. The puck slid from the circle, into the crease, through the goalie, into the net. For the OT goal the guy took an unobstructed shot directly at the goalie from the high slot. The goalie proceeded to slide sideways out of his crease, getting a glove on the mid-net shot and bobbling it up and over his shoulder into the goal.

Seeming the other thread isn't really active, would you guys be interested in doing a playoff bracket like we did for the Olympics? Once all the playoff spots are finalized in the NHL we could do a 16 (or however many we get in even numbers) team - 1 game series for the Cup.

What we'll do for playoff brackets is let peeps choose if they wanna be East/West, then do a random draw for picking teams like we did with the olympic tournament. That's only fair in my opinion. Most of the teams who will most likely make the playoffs had their roster updates and are pretty decent, so there shouldn't be too much imbalance. Toronto are also way way way overrated in this game holy poo poo. If one conference gets stacked the first 8 will get that conference, the rest will go to the other. We'll pick teams once the actual playoff spots are finalized or close enough to guess. I'm upset that the double hit sba (I think) and I put on the forecheck did not make the highlight cut. Basically I hit him, he went flying and hit his face on whoever was the center and flipped to the ground. It was fantastic

Yea but instead of murdering the player and have the puck trickle to his teammate, taking me out of position, I can poke check it to his teammate and still be in position. Or, you know, the funnel D setting up the other guys for a hit.

The Nayyybourhood had a solid night of borking last night, destroying a number of bad teams and goalies. aunt jemima got his first Gordie Howe Hat Trick in his third game and is a great fit for RGR.
