I was making I don't even remember what now but it called for some chile ancho (maybe it was morita??) powder anyway, I read that you can make a powder by just popping it in the oven, letting it dry out and crushing it. Well lazy me didn't feel like waiting for the oven to heat up so I said gently caress it, I'll throw em in the microwave for a little. Worst. Mistake. Ever. When I came back there was a buncha smoke coming out the microwave and I managed to mace both my whole store and the neighboring restaurant. All during working hours. fuuuuuuuuuuck. The customers that were around for that still make fun of me for it
