Sorry, I don't put Vick on the same level as a Something Awful moderator that fucks children. I think people involved with Dogfighting can be rehabilitated and learn from their mistakes. Dogfighting is a cultural thing and he likely never had anyone there to tell him poo poo was hosed up. By all accounts he's learned and has become a vocal advocate for the ASPCA and similar organizations.

Alabama wasn't considered a very prestigious position until Saban had dump trucks of booster cash dumped on his door step. I'd consider Texas and Oklahoma to be "bigger" programs. Edi: not to say Oklahoma is going to open anytime soon (Texas will though, gently caress Mack Brown). I just don't think of Alabama when I think of prestige and tradition. Yeah I've blanked on Alabama's history and the Mike Shula era didn't help things either. I'd say they're top 5, probably put USC at #6 and put Texas in there. That state is just a perennial recruiting powerhouse and with their money (and a competent coaching staff) they should be rolling the NCAA.

Florida probably isn't a top 5 team. I'd put both Florida State and Miami in front of them in terms of history and ability to draw talent. Miami has been playing with one hand tied behind their back for the last couple of seasons because ~NCAA~ and they're still in the top 10.

Look man, let me enjoy Miami's relevance a little while longer. It's been a long, slow trip back and we just want to enjoy it a bit more before FSU kicks our teeth in.  What about a program like Penn State? They're a traditional powerhouse and before the Sandusky scandal I think coaches would have been falling all over themselves to take over that program.
