Paul Wesley's not bad at doing an evil Stefan/Silas, but Dobrev just nails the Katherine/Elena distinctions. There's some help from the hair and makeup department but she really infuses the Katherine persona with subtleties in body language and line delivery. Katherine has this kind of permanent glower and way of moving that conveys an amused superiority to everyone she's around, whereas Elena has a kind of wide, doe-eyed look that's able to convey sympathy and understanding.

I really should watch that Orphan Black show huh?

Good God yes. While I agree that Dobrev is awesome, Maslany is a master.
