That was a great episode, and the season felt like it was kinda twiddling its thumbs until just now. There are still a couple more hangers-on that need to go, but I'm really looking forward to the insane quality of the second half if they had a hard time deciding on a dish to send home with eleven chefs left.

Honestly, I remember liking Josie during S2 and feeling sorry for her since A) she seemed nice in a season full of douchelords and B) she was attacked outside of a bar after it was over. But now it seems like she wasn't around long enough in S2 to show her true obnoxious attitude so it's quite possible she was terrible behind the seasons in S2 and there was no reason to edit that in. It's not like S2 needed any more villains as it was, Christ.

I wouldn't expect Nick to give up immunity and I was annoyed they brought it up. That said, I'm really loving tired of his  martyr act, I'm pissed on Stephanie's behalf because her dishes were described as "extraordinary" and "amazing", and I hope he's gone next.Last Chance Kitchen: Beignet challenge! They have to make one sweet and one savory. Louis: Persimmon, pine nut, and white chocolate + crab and black garlic. Stephanie: Cherry, white chocolate, and something I forgot + Andouille and corn. Louis wins because Stephanie did a yeast one that was a little too dense.
