So really, Nightmare as we know it isn't due too much to Mr. Burton's influence. Henry Sellick did all the directing, Caroline Thompson did the screenplay, and Danny Elfman did the entire score (Which actually came before the scriptwriting phase of production! It helps that my friends know I do LPs, so I only had to explain to people that didn't know me personally. I did get those weird looks, though.
