Just how many Ogoonas are there now, and how many were there to start with? If we're breeding at that fast a rate, I kind of want to do a growth rate analysis to see if by the end of EU3 the Ogoonas will be populous enough to be an actual ethnicity.

Anyway, I did a bit of math and assuming that the rate of Ogoonu population growth is exponential (which I think it is for the time being, and we won't hit carrying capacity for a long time given that they are just a fraction of the global human population), and given the number of Ogoonus after 200 years, I think its safe to say that there will be enough Ogoonus for them to be a literal ethnicity by the time EU4 starts. When we get V2, somebody is going to have to mod Ogoonu pops into the game.

It seems my dreams of an Ogoonu ethnic group might not happen. Breed more, Ogoonus! Does colonisation by terrain type work the same way in EU4 as it does in EU3, where you get penalties for trying to colonise a tropical province if your capital is non-tropical? Because if so, we might end up having to move our capital back to West Africa to get those tasty colonisation bonuses.

Man, on the one hand I'm happy that we're going to go into Vicky as a significant African Power that's un-coloniseable and regularly humiliated the West and the Middle East to the point of standing on an equal footing with the other Great Powers, but on the other hand I'm kind of sad that the Abbasid's are going to get destroyed. I'm not sure which AH construction I like more. Oh well, more Ogoonu's is always excellent. On another note, can somebody explain who owns the colonial countries on this map: quote:I don't have Eu4 or CoP and I have no idea how colonial nations work. Is Breton La Plata part of Britanny directly, or is it a colonial nation that doesn't have a distinct tag based on culture? I can't tell.
