I would love to see any one of those creepy weirdos publicly shamed. I mean, these are youtube dudes... why stalk them?! You broken, broken people.

Only reason I can think of is to assimilate into their ranks. Like if they fake an 'accidental' encounter, maybe it'll go well and they'll get invited to do videos together.

It'd actually be hilarious if someone successfully pulled that off, rose through the ranks of a Youtube network, then years later on his deathbed admitted he was a creepy stalker the whole time.

Fun fact, Slowbeef: Yours is the first '06 let's play to actually reach the credits for Silver's story. Game Grumps famously abandoned it at 98% completion, Run Button gave up after seven videos' worth of ProtonJon trials, and Pokecapn's reward in leu of credits was a hard-locked PS3.

They've also said way more offensive things in the past, so if they were gonna worry about PC then I doubt they'd start here.

I think the process involves big-timing SA and not making dedicated threads anymore.

Jon is like the one person I'm okay with watching despite him doing that, because having watched some of his twitch streams with Shane, he really is like that in real life (especially when he has had alcohol). He's just a super excitable person, it's not some character he's putting on for views or whatever. If it was faked then yeah I would be annoyed by it but personally I don't think it's hypocritical or anything to like him and not other generic yelling Youtube videogame people.

He's actually good at ham though, like he's playing to the strengths of his acting background. I don't mind the style if there's talent behind it. He's also one of the first, so unfortunately that makes him a setter of awful trends.

Here's an example of someone very obviously and unsuccessfully aping his style:

Shouldn't they probably make an exception for GTA San Andreas? The M and AO versions are exactly the same.

Also, I get that they don't want porn games on their site, but why Manhunt 2?

Most of the games they're trying to purge are unrated PC-only hentai visual novels, so the ESRB distinction is useless. Just ban Hatred and be done with it.

What's the content like in Indigo Prophecy?

I'm referring to the original release of San Andreas which was rated M but was identical to the AO release. How would Twitch even know what rating is on your game case?

e: Even if you stream the AO version, why would it matter unless you use a Gameshark to access the hot coffee scene. If you did stream hot coffee, that in itself would be a violation of Twitch's rules (don't focus on sexual scenes more than is necessary to progress the story).

What games that aren't AO are being affected by the ban on AO games?

With the exception of Fahrenheit & GTASA (both of which has their own M rated versions), most if not all AO games are sex sims.

And they already ban sex sims. The only purpose of the AO ban is Hatred.

Fahrenheit, Manhunt 2, & GTASA. I thought I was clear.

If you apply a blanket ban it prevents people from making a Hatred type game and trying to skirt your policy. If you ban all AO games, no one can get around that.

Sure they can, just don't submit it to the ESRB. There's plenty of unrated games on Steam.

Those games aren't going to be banned. There are M rated versions of them.

The AO versions are banned, despite their content being similar to countless M-rated games.

Here's a (surprisingly short) list of explicitly banned games, no ESRB ratings necessary.
BMX XXX
Dramatical Murder
HuniePop
Sakura Spirit
Second Life

I don't see why Hatred (and all the AO sex games) couldn't be added to this list.

AO games don't even come out that often. The bulk of the problem is from the countless unrated erotic visual novels on Steam.

But even in his videos he's a responsible version of PDP. He screams and swears because it appeals to kids, but he knows how to draw a line between entertaining juvenile minds and training them to be shitheads.

This has nothing to do with consumer rights. It's entirely about cash flow.It could be equally argued that if the so-called content creators cared about consumers, they would be more than happy to make videos without monetary compensation. They aren't, meaning they are as much slaves to the public vices as the corporations they claim to police.

This argument falls apart when they takedown TAS videos rather than just content-ID them, which is now.
