I used to name all my PCs by their CPU such as "AMD Thunderbird" or "Pentium 3", those were a long time long time ago.

Now I go by planets in the solar system. Desktop is Saturn, Netbook is Pluto (small, moves around a lot, misunderstood), Venus for wife's PC. My HTPC and NAS have booring, non planetary names.
