Oh yay, just in time for Halloween! I was just discussing good Silent Hill 3 playthroughs with a friend the other day so it was a bit surprising seeing the first video pop up on my Youtube feed. The enemies in this game are so much creepier than in the previous games. That giraffe-necked thing is messed up.

The Protagonist posted:I don't think it's a good sign the last person to LP this game lost his marbles. This game is cursed and you two are going to come out the other end gibbering shells of your former selves. They already made it through the entirety of Sonic without going completely nuts. I think they're immune.

Oxxidation posted:SH4 is the only game, book, or film that's unfailingly given me nightmares every time I get back into it, and I grew up on horror so that's a tough row to hoe. It's got bad design decisions everywhere, but when it comes to creating tension and menace I'd say it's the best in the series, partly due to those very same bad design decisions. You may want to remove that last bit... I'm personally looking forward to seeing if they do it because there's exactly one scene I remember vividly as being terrifying when I read through the screenshot LPs of the Silent Hill games, and it's in SH4.
