Those characters must be really easy to 'draw'. Which is why he is doing this nonsense more I expect. I mean why loving bother with a Console War story anyway. The best comic parody of that stuff happened years ago and it cannot be beat.

Castle Vidcons does the whole consoles-with-personality-schick better, even if the subject matter gets a bit vague, at least the creator is bothering to think up topics other than whatever game Kotaku has been spamming all week. Buckley's just gotten dull. I'm waiting for when he has a User Friendly moment and just melts down for several months before vanishing all together and having his website brought by some Australian company. Dobson's slipped into demented self-parody where he reins within his echo chamber of DeviantArt where every post is either complaining about "modern gaming", trying to prove he's cool by supporting feminism via lesbian characters and pinup artwork or pleading with people to be nice and begging for DeviantArt to magically wish away the haters while goading people with strawman arguments and asking them to join in. He's currently on a Skyrim kick - where he ragequit after a week...

it was like this too, sort of, in the months leading up to The End. he'd go on a string of comics that were too boring to really mock, then come out with something like black Zeke or GamesGamesBowl.pdf that made it worth it however, I think this is as bland as he's ever been

We've had two consoles debutes and Nintendo's two big franchises had games released, and we're stuck on console robots. Buckley is such a stereotypical Xbox/ Hardcore! FPS/MMORPG nerd that a lot of times I don't even know what game he's talking about. What was the last Nintendo game he did? Super Smash Bros. Brawl? (He also did that comic where the joke was "I took forever to pick a starter Pokemon!")
