Mr. Clean
Mr. Clean reviews the message for a second before blinking for a moment, sending him back to the main menu and eyes some of his contacts numbers. He checks with them to see if they had referred him for any work. If the answer is satisfactory and everything checks out, he takes a hot shower, shaves, and rides over to the club dressed in white and packing his usual heat (Ares 75 with APDS rounds).

I kinda made my initial post simple and sweet cause last go around with this dude I was already at the meet and I peeped everything in/out/around when i got to the place and while i was in it. Can we assume I do this as well and before even going I thoroughly investigate this referral with my people before I decide if I want to take the job. And then the thorough investigation shows its legit and we get on with the show. I wanna get on the roll already, mainly cause last time I took my time the game i was in died.

edit: oh yeah for all that what rolls and how many of them do you need from me

Run it through my yakuza contact first and if he can't answer the following questions straight or to my satisfaction, then and only then do I run up to the S-K Johnson whose keeping tabs on me and find out if this is one of his pet projects he has me lined up for. Any research that needs to be done I have done by my Red Vory data thief contact and he also gets a call as well from me if the Yakuza guy has nothing for me at all.

List of Questions:
1. Did you refer me to anyone.
2. Did anyone you know that knows me refer me to anyone.
3. Whats the deal with this guy, whats the job, all pertinent information.
4. Ask 3 again incase he held anything back.

Basic Perception Roll 9d6t5: 2
Visual/Image Enhanced Perception Roll 12d6t5: 7 Mental Limit 6

Use those rolls where appropriate. I will come 2 hours before the meet to check it out and then check it out 30 minutes prior before i walk in the door....15 minutes prior.

I'll develop names and some backstory behind the contacts later, they were a quick swap in for existing contacts. Followup Questions for my Yakuza Contact (Now Named: "Kash" for Kashiwagi) will be more informations about the associate mainly physical description, things like that to see if I might know him. Run Mr. Kim datamining and research to Danila (Red Vory Data Thief Contact) and send me the bill if needed. I expect this to take more time then I have time till the meeting but he can send me a summary via encrypted txt and my commlink will display it right infront of my cybereyes. That information may make sure i ask a few extra questions I wouldn't normally ask during the negotiations.

Mr. Clean

On Danila
"Of course tovarich, there has to be some degree of trust in our business. Just remember who pulled you out of vladivostok and brought you here."

If he fucks me I'll blow his loving house up nbd.

In reply to Mr. Kim.
"Mr. Kim, I accept your invitation and will see you at the appointed time."

At the club
Mr. Clean rides over in his suzuki mirage, parking it nearby where appropriate and activating the biometric and antitampering features onboard. Mr. Clean figures if he's going to set foot in such an establishment, his usual corporate styled attire wouldn't. So he's dressed himself for the part. Electrochromatic Italian designer shirts and jeans. Fingerless Gloves, Gucci shoes, and a slick bikers jacket. His hairstyle as exotic as his clothes, his hair cut short and designed to look like jaguar spots tinted smoke grey with purple highlights. In short a flamboyant but to all appearances, another clubber enjoying the seoul night life.

Mr. Clean heads over to the bar, eyes the rest of the out of place folks at the bar as he orders in accented and simple korean a rum and coke. As his eyes concentrate for a microsecond on each of the faces present at the bar, the words Kill Track V2.0 pop up in the top right of his field of vision and boxes center on each face he looks at, the rest of the boxes. He sends a simple mental text to Danila, Identify marked persons. After he receives confirmation in the next split second, the boxes disappear and he takes his drink and himself to the dance floor sending a mental comm to Mr. Kim. Sir I have arrived, send your people to direct me towards the meet. Better to blend in and reduce your exposure than to sit out of place and be noticed, or at least noticed for the wrong reasons.

I would have had this post up this morning but I fell asleep when I laid down trying to think of what else to post. My apologies.

Mr. Clean

Encrypted Comm to Danila (txt)
Get what you can from my earbuds but I'm kicking you out as soon as the show starts. Your eyes are for my eyes only and your ears stay to themselves except for the speech recognition that you must do to identify the tagged persons. Biz is Biz.

At the door
Mr. Clean shuts off his audio enhancement and restarts it, making sure that Danila no longer has a mark on it. He replies simply in korean. "Of Course." He speaks again in english. "I guess we are here on the same ticket. We should get acquainted after this." Mr. Clean says to all involved.

Mr. Clean

Mr. Clean takes the offered hand. "They call me Mr. Clean" he says in a mixed accent. Mostly european with a good touch of Seattle. "Italian would be nice but I'm dressed for the night life so lets enjoy that instead." He eyes ironguts warily for but a second before shifting his eyes back to Mad Dog "Any reason for concern in regards to your name?"

Mr. Clean

"Of course Mr. Kim that goes without saying. Who are the expected resistance, what threats can be expected. Is collateral damage a concern? Do you want this done quietly or do you wish to make an example? Will acquiring the package require us to invest in special equipment and will you be providing reimbursement for said equipment. Those are my concerns. I am curious as to why you implied this contract you have assembled us for would peak my interest. The subtle change from merely acquiring a package under duress and fire to mentioning a target of interest. Secondary objective?"

Mr. Clean
"Nights still young. We have the whole team here and theres bound to be more things that come to us in regards to this work. And our decker would appreciate global grid access I'm sure. So lets spend a night in the VIP over drinks at one of the hottest nightclubs in Seoul, kick up our feet, enjoy life, and plan this out right. Mr. Rigged Deck here can do some matrix surveillance and research in between martinis, we get to know each other a bit, professionally of course. And, take it from there. I'd recommend we save the actual surveillance for tommorow, first get the matrix picture and the lay out of the building so when we go out on foot and look at the astral and the visual, it'll make a little more sense."

I have a massive headache right now doing a PC build. First time heh. Ok I was gonna write this out IC tonight but i'll do it tommorow. Basically this is the gist of what i was gonna say. Offer the PCs a few locations off the top of his head.

"The Congo": Run by a nigerian expat who got his start in the nightclub scene in Japan, Roppongi in particular. Music is african inspired e-trance. High class clientele that varies from expats/tourists/corp guys/middle/high class locals. You might even find some japanese in the place as well, and the odd Renraku executive. Staffwise, the girls and the staff are predominately african or african american with hispanic. Security is mostly trolls/orks, attire from the staff is some hilarious notion of what african tribals would wear except oversexd and electrochromatic. Cage dancers are a thing here. So are BTLs if the music isn't quite doing it for you, and they have groups that come in and do some crazy astral music.

"Studio 65": For that UCAS home feel, its basically NYC nightlife exported to the Far East. Same type of clientele but mainly epats/tourists from australia/europe that frequent the place as well as Korean girls that wanna be the next Maria Mercurial judging by the plastic surgery and occasionally even cyberware, though most are content to just bodypaint the arms and "cosplay" the look to a degree. Owner is french. I'd write more but its not coming to me right now.

Also an underground chromerock club and a local Korean venue that does their thing but i drew blanks. The Bible feel free to move us on otherwise I'll post up tommorow or so.

I'd like to rent a floor for our use in an office building near the site with a snipers overlook, very discreet and by the books. I also want to rent a second bolthole for us to hide out after the job somewhere out of town. Also to help capstick, here are some rolls that I edged. I come up with this over some drinks at Studio 65 while everyone else is partying.
Pro Knowledge+Edge: Corp Security (Saeder-Krupp Prime Spec) 14d6t5: 7
Professional (Small Unit Tactics, Spec: MOUT)

Use the first roll to give him best/worst/likely scenarios for security measures/defenses. Use the second to figure out how to outright assault the place as well as everything in between.

3/5 Edge remaining for the night.

Fashionably late for his own party of sorts, Mr. Clean walks into Studio 65 in a immaculate white suit, black tie. He makes his way up to the VIP while having a small window playback Capstick's recon in his cybereyes. He orders a bottle of Dom and grabs a seat. "Sorry I was late, I got caught up with the locals. So I reviewed Capstick's cybereye feed, good work. We need a floor plan to make good our entry and escape but the thing is the security. We have that one blindspot in the sensor grid where cameras aren't watching with all that vegetation and poo poo growing in the back. Thats our way in. Its either an oversight or intentionally put there cause S-K likes to let you in, let you run around a bit and then hit you. Either way it doesn't matter." Clean pours himself a glass of the dom and thinks for a moment. "So the security. You'll have normal corpsec and physical barriers like capstick saw as the first line. If the intrusion is noted and you've gotten past those initial barriers, they will let it take its course like I said. After they track you a bit astrally and via cameras to figure out what your objective and likely options for egress, they will put their magical guys to lock down the exits. They will try and terminate you either at the exits or as soon as you have exited the building proper to minimize collateral damage."

"Collateral damage is provided by a S-K SRT team which may or may not have S-K black ops leading them or "on leave" doing a cycle with SRT to familiarize themselves with their counterparts in corp sec. Around these parts they fly the Nissan Hound almost exclusively, the weapon mounts on port and starboard sides have machineguns on them. They drop off 2 4 man fireteams near the zone and a sniper or two or a nearby rooftop then orbit the zone providing firesupport. You step out the front door and they'll light your poo poo up. That said, there's one trick you can pull up your sleeve that they don't expect in a major city. Strela Blok."

Mr. Clean sends everyone a invite mark to their commlinks to invite them to a little conference. Once they are in a schematic props up. "This is old school turf that some ex-Spetsnaz Vory put me onto. This tricks been catching guys slipping since the 70s, the 1970s mind you. Get yourself a shoulder fired anti air missle, put it on a time delay near an airfield or in this case S-K prime regional HQ where the SRT team is stationed and walk away. Cruder versions listen for the sound of a jet engine or helicopter and launches the missile as soon as it notices the target getting farther away. A wireless trigger hooked up to a webcam could suffice for us easily. We get Kim to front us some army surplus gear and we just put it on a rooftop or put it on the side of a building. They'll be airborne within 5-10 minutes of an alarm going off at the building and even if they dodge the missile they will put the chopper down some distance away from us in fear of another anti air attack. SRT guys are ballsy but the pilots aren't trying to die. That takes care of SRT and diverts attention away from us for a bit. Alternatively I am trained in heavy weapons though grenade launchers are more my thing. I can fire one decently but then I'd want some reloads."

"That covers security, lets talk about actually getting in here instead of blowing everything away. I need the floor plan to best determine how we get in but the way I figure it we should split the team. Me and Capstick go over the wall through the gap in their cameras whilst Russo and Blitz see about getting in with fake SINs/uniforms of some form and impersonate either security staff or custodial staff. We just need them to let us in. After that we need to flow like water to the primary objectives and the secondary if we can swing it. Getting bogged down in this place will be the death of us. Get inside the elevator shaft and ride it up that way might be an option. So might be the classic approach of vents but as you get closer to the main project, its more likely that they'll be rigged with motion sensors of some kind. Egress should be rappelling off the side of the building terminating in an approach to the sewers or if things go exceedingly well, a lovely van that no one will notice a few blocks away. This might work better though."

A brochure pulls up for office spaces near the S-K building. "So I can rent us a floor on an office building under a shell company. Order some building materials to be shipped, furnitures, computers, etc. Also conveniently a few worker uniforms for us and stuff. We do our job, we hightail it to the basement entrace to the office on street level, get up to our new home and lay low for a couple of hours or the night. Hide in plain sight then walk out when we feel like it in coveralls as a bunch of IT types that were hooking up the matrix access and putting together cubicles."

Mr. Clean
"Custodial works but Security allows for better access. Also they don't know each other that drat well and security does get complacent/lazy. Its another 12 hours shift that they wanna breeze past. They will do what their duties requires including being anal about the details they have to be but unless you give them a reason to look at you sideways, they will take the stance of "gently caress if I know, I just work here" about anything requiring a thought. Just look like you belong, follow their procedures, and play it cool. Also I have an ares alpha with the underbarrel GL and my own stash of grenades. Get me a couple kilos of military grade plastique and if we want to go full frontal like I'm proposing, I'm going to need a aztech striker with AV rockets and a external smartgun rig, Thermographic vision mod. If you can snag me guided missles even better."

Mr. Clean
"Hey Melody, glad you could make it. Yeah she's cool we worked together on a few jobs in Seattle. She's an infiltrator, she can do the talking for us." Mr. Clean sends off the list of required supplies to Mr. Kim via encrypted commlink

quote:

Observation of the client has determined the need for the following items.
2 Aztechnology Striker Missile Launchers with topmounted external smartlinks, thermographic vision mod in the scope.
2 Dual Mode (Infared/Dumb Fire) (Sensor Rating 4-6) ATGMs
Alternatively 2 RPG-47 or equivalent rockets (regular rear end AV rockets)
6kg of Military grade (Rating 6-10) Plastique preferably former North Korean army surplus which is easily acquired on the black market.

"Rigged Deck, can you fake basic SINs for the team. These do not need to pass heavy scrutiny, they just need not be flagged in the S-K security system as something to look at. In the event any of us do show up on the sensor grids, we should get a pass if we are showing as friendly unless we are in a restricted area. The plan thus far is bust in the gap in the camera network, hopping over the wall like russians trying to get out into berlin. I want Mad Dog and Melody to be our faces to walk in the front door as regular staff, possibly with rigged deck making it a trio. Go in, let us in, and otherwise facilitate the rest of the team getting up to the target floor. We snatch what we came for, we get his loving go board or w/e he wanted as a consolation prize, and we head out. I will be humping the Anti Tank missles to deal with any S-K HTR teams that fly in and blow them out the sky before they land. After that we bust through street level. S-K and any corp ever would expect the people who go full frontal to get as far away from the scene as possible. There are a couple office buildings for rent either right near the target or a couple of blocks down. I will fund from my pocket the rental of an office floor for a night, pay some guys to set up some audio/AR/video entertainment and throw an underground party. Us laying low will be under their noses, sipping patron and sniffing nova coke in a backroom playing cards while we wait on the heat to die down and leaving at 6AM with the rest of the ravers and stuff.

This also gives us time after the job to disassemble the package and store it in a very discreet stash of some sorts and sneak it out/pass any searches that are done. Thats plan A. Plan B is sewer rat, following the servers partway to a off the grid exit where we'll have a vehicle stashed for the getaway, terminating in a few boltholes we acquire strategically placed through various districts in the town. Plan C could be an aerial extraction on the rooftop of the place but that would likely involve turning off the sam sites that are on the roof. We'd also have to ask in the shadows for a chopper pilot for hire, probably ex special forces. And that'll be one more clue for S-K to follow up in the aftermath."

Run me through a visual run similar to what capstick did as well as making the arrangement for the office building underground party with the yakuza contact. Start it at 10pm and don't stop it till 6 AM. Also determine what security arrangements are needed for our panic room. Also renting various deadbolts throughout town, at least 4-5.

Riding in with Team B, will scope out the place 3 hours prior. I will stash my mission gear in the panic room I setup at the party building and then go check out the building from a rooftop or something. I'll have all my combat gear in duffel bags. 1st Duffel contains ares alpha with all the ammo listed on the character sheet. All in clips just thrown in there as well as the plastic explosives and detonator caps, covered by an actioneer business suit in the dryclean bag with italian leather shoes and socks on top in a cheap plastic bag from a stuffer shack type joint. Second duffle is for the Aztech Striker and its ammo. Why bring the suit? Change on site into appropriate corporate attire and let me take point/walk the halls while someone else carries my poo poo. Anyone from the security staff who sees someone wearing their uniform even on an unauthorized floor will speak and ask you wtf you are doing before they shoot, and its not unusual to be carrying certain weapons. Weapons on me at that point would be an ares 75 and a ingram smartgun with the magazines tucked into some handmade webbing to hold the magazines on the inside of the suit jacket. Discreet, is professional, and looks good around the time I'm blasting said corpsec guy quietly with the smartgun when he's asking me whose my shift supervisor and why the hell I wasn't at my post.

Once everything goes to hell, I break out the heavy poo poo

Mr. Clean
Mr. Clean and Capstick sit tight around the block waiting to be given the order from the A team to hop the wall and make their way through the back to the 13th floor. Clean is dressed in workers coveralls and has his duffelbags stashed in an alley near the place (a bunch of men carrying heavy poo poo would look out of place if they were just sitting there+probably spike olfactory sensors that sniffed for gunpowder and explosives)

[Waiting for you guys to let us in through the back so we can hop that wall. If security precautions were elevated since last time we'll take an alternate approach]

Sewer to GET IN to the S-K Building? is that even an option if so we'd prob take it but hate it.

Once he's in he drops one duffel quietly to the floor and changes out into his black business suit, being careful to make sure the dry cleaning receipt and all the plastic stays in the duffel. Once he's dressed up and good to go, he slots his earbuds in and sets his fake SIN to transmit him as corpsec op H.K. Schultz. "How do I look?" After letting Melody and Amalia scope out the scene, Mr. Clean gently sets down his duffel and draws the Ares assault rifle from it, loading a Flashbang pack into its integral grenade launcher, the rifle itself being preloaded with APDS. He checks out the surroundings and listens for any movement around them before going to recon up ahead. He'll likely hear the drones and sit tight for the moment, waiting for Rigged Deck to take care of them once he's got a fix on their signal.

I've been passed out for most of these updates. The Bible would you be willing to amend your last update as I interrupt elf girl Kerrigan's exit. Basically Mr. Clean will offer to quickly stabilize their man. I mean I put the bullets in the fucker, I saw where Mad Dog stabbed him, and they are playing ball with us. They are playing it cool and business like but thats because we knocked out her backup and her only valid play was to leave with grace and their team intact. If that team is Full up and minus one on the chopper ride out there might be some bad blood. They seem like pros but someone dying on your watch is bad for business. It lets them save face, save themselves some heartache, and adds to our team's reputation. Here's the IC post if you choose to take advantage of it.

Mr. Clean
Edge: 3/5
Initiative: 14+2d6: 20
"Wait one." Mr. Clean says to the troll carrying "Arcturus" and to Kerrigan. "Put your man down, he isn't stable for transport. Gently please and hold his head straight wouldya, don't move his spine at all." Mr. Clean hustles over to one of his duffels and brings it next to him producing a matte black case with a red cross on it, Evo corp logo imprinted on the side. First thing he does is expose Arcturus chest and slaps the trauma patch on to stabilize him, pressing some dimple on the patch to activate the wireless mode which he had preset to his PAN. Linking the medkit to the same PAN, they work together to stabilize the man. Then Clean gets to work removing the mans body armor, cutting away anything that isn't held together by a ceramic plate of some kind and tossing it to the side. Afterwards he's quickly applying bandages and biofoam to holes in the body and administering an IV of some blood replacement solution to hold him over till they could see a doc and get him some of the real poo poo.

About 30 seconds later as Clean seemingly swarms over the man and doing medical things at hyperspeed, the man is hopefully better off than he left him earlier. "Patient presents with multiple gunshots across his abdomen and chest area, Patient also has a stab wound on the left side midaxillary. All life threats treated and patient is ready for transport. Get him out of my building." Clean packs away his poo poo and picks up his assault rifle that he had tucked under his legs and sat on for most of this. "You can tell him when he wakes up that it was just business and that he owes me for his life. Also that he might want to figure how to turn the safety off a bit faster before his life gets cut short a second time. Goodbye Kerrigan and company good luck to you."

[Lets get on with the business already. How we looking?] Mr. Clean says as he picks up his ingram smartgun off the floor and throws it into the duffel. Unsatisfied with its performance, Clean figures its best to go loud and drop dudes outright next time.

Healing rules on pg. 205. Tl;DR I would need you to roll the healing roll.
Base Healing Test works out like this. First aid at 15 dice pool (9 base +6 (Wireless Medkit rating 6), -1 due to conditions (I'm working in a hallway so -1). It will also be another -1 die pool modifier for every 2 full points of essence loss due to 'ware. He is not uncooperative (because he's passed out lying in a pool of his own blood) Healing is against a threshold of 2 with any hits above the threshold healing him by one box. If he had any kind of full body armor it would halve that result which is why I'm stripping him of his armor first. Using this skill in combat requires a complex action and takes a number of combat turns equal to the number of boxes of damage I'm Healing. A Combat Turn is 3 seconds. If this pans out I'd have him patched up in at most (Assuming I hit my mental limit of 6 hits), 4 turns (for 4 hits above the threshold). 12 seconds.

Mr. Clean
Edge: 3/5
[Going Dark] Mr. Clean texts as he disables all wireless features, doublechecking especially for his explosives and his wired reflexes. He'll reactivate them when going into or expecting combat but for now, he'll play it safe. A quick flashback to that fateful op in the jungles of south america that ruined his career, mainly the part where Patton spasmed violently when his ware got hacked before getting eviscerated by a cyberzombie. Not a good way to go.

[If we got everything we came for lets extract now. We can take the roof but be ready to take another route out, we'll be exposed till we rappel down and get out.] Mr. Clean checks elapsed time since they've entered the building and cross references it with expected SRT response times should a silent alarm be tripped. Irregardless of the result he grabs the Aztech Striker from the 2nd duffel and loads it with a AV rocket before slinging it over his shoulder. [Someone get the rest of the gear and lets rock]

Mr. Clean
Edge: 1/5

Mr. Clean maintains overwatch on the roof and observes everything. [Cavalry is arriving, we need to make our exit now. Combat Drones at the front entrance.] Hearing someone jump behind him he turns and sees Capstick do his thing. [Get across I'm on overwatch, last out.] Mr. Clean activates wireless on his reflex 'ware, his ares alpha, and the flash grenade in the chamber. Cybereyes zooming in on the redhot signatures approaching mixed in with the blues and yellows in thermographic. He looks to the road ahead, then back to the lead vehicle and then to the road again. He takes aim and fires. His magnified thermal vision tracks the grenade in flight, his eyes drawn to the "waypoints" in his AR overlay. One on the lead vehicles windshield, one on where he shot the grenade to meet the lead vehicle, and the last one tracking the grenade in flight. Mr. Clean smiles as all 3 seem to line up at the exact point in time and he immedietely signals to detonate right in front. Pausing only to assess the pileup of police vehicles ahead of him and whether his parting shot was effective, Mr. Clean throws in the spare AV rocket from the last duffel into his main duffel, spare duffel into main duffel, slings that across his chest, and then hops across to the zipline. [Good thinking Capstick, you just saved our asses. Now lets get the gently caress clear.]

Accuracy Limit does not apply cause I pushed the limit. Stun Damage would be around 18 and that should incapacitate the driver of the lead vehicle, even if it does not, the momentary blindness should cause him to swerve and hit a pole or some poo poo. Basically I just hosed the oncoming reinforcements.

Now for my final act, getting off the rooftop.

[Its on top of the C4 and magazines in the duffel, the mostly full one. Grab it quick and put all my poo poo back quick.] Mr. Clean says as he observes the Police convoy roll up.

Mr. Clean turns his rifle to the rooftop and targets the snipers. They were fast to move but in their eagerness to get set up they set up in the worst place. On an open rooftop that would be easily hit by counterfire. Clean fires another grenade to put down the snipers or at least throw off their aim. [Flash out! Get me some suppressing fire, suppressing fire on the rooftop we came off of. Then move to the garage and then we'll lose them in the streets and then sewers from there. Go!]

Blast is targeted to catch as many snipers as possible. Using Flash because I dont have time to reload to another clip yet and thats whats in there.

Spend a simple action to shoot and a simple action to take cover on the rooftop

I'll roll defense later as I don't feel like channeling my luck at dodging snipers bullets when I'm dead tired. That said if the round does hit I expect to be near death or dead so we should talk about contingencies for when I burn edge to live or something.
