Not worth doing for me. Chanter hats are so dumb looking. It's ugly. I would love to switch to Swash or Brig. Their appearance clothes/hats are so sweet.

Ugh some of these changes in the patch notes are making me want to quit this game. I had an entire hot bar of pre-clicky charms for named fights and now you can only have two charms active at one time. And the nerf to most of the proc gear. At least the DPS gear with no stamina hasn't been messed with yet.  Why do they constantly give things just to take them away??

Buddy of mine is having a pretty gamebreaking issue. Agro NPC nameplates will not show up for him unless he is pretty much standing on top of the thing. I have the standard nameplate draw distance. We have compared settings and both have more than enough computer to handle the game at extreme settings. Has anyone else heard of this happening and can offer a possible fix? EDIT: Looks like we figured out something. Had to do with the streaming client causing problems. Another question, Anybody got any links to a channel guide? Holy poo poo this class is weird. Aah balls! I've started playing theme park mmos recently after jumping in and out of Eve for the past few years. I must admit I have no idea what to waste my time on. Played a bit of WoW, rift and GW2 which I enjoyed (though not blown away). How is Everquest 2 different than the above mentioned games?

As much time as I sunk into it, EQ2's time has passed. I'd wholeheartedly recommend trying FF14.

Just coming back to this game after a few years. Had a lot of station cash so I bought a level 85 SK. I'm fairly familiar with the game, but it's been a long time. Could someone lay out a good soloing SK build for me, please? Not really interested in group content until I become more comfortable with the class. I logged in and I'm in some kind of ice zone with a poo poo ton of AA's and a hotbar and oh god.

EQ2's pretty dead. Everything since Sentinel's Fate launched was just an insane, low-value (and completely transparent) cash grab. Alienated many of what remaining fanatical players they had left. She's dead, Jim.

Roehn Theer is still one of the coolest and most enjoyable boss fights I've done to date. I hope the game doesn't close, though. I like to log in from time to time and play with my house.

Any signs in game that SOE's given up beyond that last expansion? Aren't 99% of SOE working on PS2 amd EQ3?

I'm having a nostalgia trip from 2005 when i played this game and I'm currently 2gb out of the 17gb download wondering if any servers are still populated at all and which one i should level on? That being said it probably doesn't matter as I'll rage quit after a few days when the power of nostalgia isn't enough to keep me going.

It's a jumper mount from the marketplace, kinda goes along with an achievement from Bristlebane Day. Before Bristlebane day all these bunnies appeared in zones. On April 1st you could 'collect' them for titles. (Fur Finder, Rabbit Nabber, Bunny Hoarder). There's some speculation that in the new raid content coming out in April that Bristlebane will drop a flying bunny mount.

How many goons still play these days? Thinking of redownloading EQ2 again. Do people ever do the old dungeons and whatnot anymore? I always had a lot of fun locking exp and killing all the named monsters in each zone before moving on.
