Yeah, the economics system has the potential to make warfare so much more interesting. The ability to cut off a country from basic goods causing massive uprisings and supply shortfalls for their army would be awesome, except the market system makes it so that you can have literally all of great britain blockaded and everyone will continue on like its nothing. Also, have forts actually be a pain to take.

C3 The Illitrate savages we have incorporated would do better governing themselves. This leaves the states large enough to make "convincing" them to build certain factories to indirectly boost our economy attractive, while at the same time leaving them small enough to prevent them from threatening us. As well as avoiding that whole "ethnic strife" thing. Healthcare is the least our citizens deserve after heroically rising up against the north german menace! Except the reactionaries gently caress those guys. It also warms my heart to see the UK get repeatedly invaded.
