The best best part is that she's pretty crazy milquetoast in her criticisms. I don't mean that as a slam, I think it's fine to put out easily accessible stuff as a way to initiate people into how this is an issues. But the people loving losing it and the people on message boards decrying about how she's being deceitful on the topic are getting riled up by a woman calmly stating basic observable facts about the world. Thinking about it, it's got some parallels to the Sandra Fluke debacle, down to poo poo cartoonists trying to draw women they disagree with as 'ugly' and leaving it at that as an argument.

It honestly reads like babbies first attempt at dystopian fiction. Something you scrawled out in high school right after you read 1984 and Catcher in the Rye and were all hopped up on how the rest of humanity was an oppressive conspiracy of phonies. Later on you find it in an old notebook and are really embarrassed and thankful that you improved your grasp on the basic rudiments of storytelling in the intervening years. Only Ted Rall wrote this in his mid to late thirties and his craft hasn't improved in the decades since.

This is just terrible utterly terrible. I even remember hearing this woman talking on NPR about what a giant windfall this campaign was and how carefully the charity was planning on being with the giant infusion of cash they were receiving. I'm not aware of any time Krauthammer has been right about anything in any context ever. Like we all laugh at Karl Rove breaking down on Election Night 2012, but at least he organized and predicted something correctly previously. It is definitely a 'thing', but I think that it's something that gets overly simplified, especially when it comes to music. It is one of those realms that I thing have more white people arguing with each other about it than voices of color, as the cartoon alleges.
