The greatest moment in my life was realizing that I didn't need a belt to be happy.

I know it wasn't loaded on action but UFC 173 deserves Card of the Year nominations just for such beautiful fighting & technique from the top three winners. Cormier showed what wrestling could do, Lawler showed what boxing could do, and Dillashaw showed that p4p rankings don't mean poo poo.

Dillashaw vs Barao for obvious Fight of the Year and it's going to be tough for anything to beat that. Gustafsson winning the belt might be the only one to do it.

Maybe Diego/Pearson should be given the award and a new "runner up" or "second half" list established. Or Diego/Pearson could also be removed from the list and just set aside ("yes yes, we know, it was an atrocity") so that there's still room for discussion.
