To avoid derailing the Kit Thread further, PYF football crests, logos, badges, whatever you want to call them. My personal favorite comes from the bowels of the English Non-League pyramid, Cheddar FC.

In addition to the ones already posted in the kit thread, Italy's lower leagues have some good ones AS Taranto (as they were previously known) had this as a logo, they must really hate Pescara SPAL has a really boring one Virtus Entella has some 90's rear end clipart A man from Frosinone bought a Brescia kit and washed it too many times

Here's one of my favs, that of perennial TRP darling US Cittá di Palermo: Now, some minimalist 70s crests, first a few re-posts of the AC Milan and AS Roma efforts (the latter of which has been revived recently on road/third/Euro shirts): ACF Fiorentina's '70s crest was unpopular with fans, but I liked it: Even British clubs got into the act, like Leeds United and Newcastle United: Troy Queef fucked around with this message at 02:29 on Jan 30, 2014 |

"Established 2009" is such a jarring thing to be placed above a vintage soccer ball. The juxtaposition implies some astounding stupidity from whoever designed that logo.

Valencia's crest is one of my favorites. Their cross town rivals Levante also sport a cool bat (though more stylized) in their crest: The bat is also on their city coat of arms and has something to do with the crown of Aragón Fun fact: Valencia have a pointyball team in the Spanish American Football League (who knew this was a thing?) called the firebats

They technically still are, the just fused with THOR Waterschei to form KRC Genk (THOR is actually an acronym for 'Tot Herstel Onzer Rechten' (To Retrieve Our Rights - which referred to Waterschei's struggle against the Francophone bourgeois dominance of the mining industry) and later 'Ter Heil Onzer Ribbenkast' (To Protect Our Rib Cage)) The best crest in my biased opinion though is still Club Brugge's very first crest. I grew up with the third, so it's not a nostalgia thing, but look at those laurels. Dessel Sport currently have the same layout, so I like their crest too. Lots of birds in the lower leagues. Visé have a goose, and Heist have a swan. And I can't find White Star Woluwé's former crest, but the star in it was actually decent unlike in the current one. To close this post off, have Hoogstraten's gaudy graident piece of poo poo. Belgian crests aren't that iconic apart from a several few (like Gent's indian). They're usually gradient poo poo or (in the case of fusion clubs) logo's where every former club needs to be represented in. belgend fucked around with this message at 11:19 on Jan 30, 2014 |

Pretty much all the crests in Finland are boring as hell, but here are some of the weirder ones. Tampereen Ilves are better known for ice hockey than football, but all Ilves ("Lynx") teams use this terrifying lynx head as their logo. I wonder who thought this was a good idea? At the end of last season FC KooTeePee finally came to their senses and merged back with KTP to form FC KTP, which also meant the end of this kid-friendly crest. Yeah. FC Jazz, the coolest club in Finland. Seems like they realized how boring FC Lahti's crest is so they just added some extra stuff to it. I'd say remove everything except the fox to make this better.
