No, it just has an extra yes/no box to go through when saving the first time. Actually, I don't even know if Gen 1 even has that confirmation box.

It turns out the hard part wasn't getting into Cerulean, it is getting out. Edit: seriously, how is this ever going to get past the first boulder-pushing puzzle?
