I always thought Archers in LUCT (although I've only played the remake) were really powerful, especially with height advantage? They hit hard and have enormous range - although boring, they are quite formidable.

What's with Ogre Battle and murdering mermaids? Every game in the series I've played had a mission like that, for different reason, but still (sometimes it's also because eating mermaids is said to grant one eternal life). Actually, I remember some other TRPG having a mission like that (Yggdra Union, I think). Why are mermaids hated so?

I'm glad they pointed out the leader being pink, as opposed to all those other non-pink mermaids.
