Well, I'm done marathoning this thread now. In an earlier video (I've already forgotten which one) you brought up a scene with some thugs opening a supply closet door with a bunch of asians that popped up and yelled "Supplies!" Unless it was done elsewhere as well (I think one of you thought it was an SNL skit or something), it was in fact a scene from Weird Al's UHF...... Uh...I really don't have anything else to say other than I'm enjoying the videos. I wasn't part of the L4D2 scene long enough to know of any good mods, but I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with!

The short version is that we all went to University together and, through the most complicated Venn diagram of all time, we had just enough loosely associated friendships that we ended up hanging out. Which is something of a small miracle because Jotsam is EXTREMELY xenophobic and I'm a little... hard to get along with sometimes. Time moved on and we all moved away, but we determined to stay friends and, oddly enough, Xbox live was the best way we could do that, so we made a ritual of getting together every Friday night and playing a game. The game that we chose at first was Left 4 Dead (the first one). We've gone through a whole bunch of games together and have recently migrated over to Steam after we all got L4D2 for free during the Christmas special. Oddly enough, though my rig is almost 6 years old, it would still run the game fairly decently (on the lowest settings), so it ended up being the perfect choice. Kreslev then decided that we should pool our collective talents and create an LP series. Then Jotsam started playing Dark Souls, and that's a whole other kettle of fish.  Now that I just got a graphics card update, we might actually be able to play something fairly more modern, but, for now, this is working and I'm actually really happy that you guys are enjoying these videos so much. The sky is not a technical term; it is the set of all visible objects below space, which is also not a technical term in normal usage. Meteors would be part of space until they hit atmosphere, as would all elements of the set of objects above the atmosphere. Clouds are indeed part of the sky.

Is the audio really, really desynced in the latest video or is it just me? It seems to desync, then go back to normal, and then desync again, etc. EDIT: It only seems to do it on 720p, too. 480p works fine

Clouds are part of the sky, and that's all there is to it.  These weird featureless maps always make me think of the Big Shell from MGS2.  They're so sterile and unappealing, and have more of a half-finished feel about them because of it. Just goes to show that overall art direction can really count for a lot.Oh, and just throwing this out there, but I just got myself a new laptop and I can run L4D2 on it, turns out. Good job on managing to squeeze that much entertainment out of the mod. It's a really simple mod I built on the premise that you can order zombies to attack anything. Adding it to a campaign is an interesting idea, but making them play as an actual team would get complicated. The AI stuff exposed to scripting is really simple, and only allows you to tell them what object to attack, not where to do it from.

Thanks to you guys I've just been adding as many mods as possible to my L4D2 sessions now. Dead Fun is pretty great to just dick around with. Zombie Football is a pretty neat little game mode. Like you guys were saying in the video, it's nice to see a mod that really deviates from the standard of just being another campaign. Good on you, Rectus.

Oh, you totally missed a lot of easter eggs, including the secret finale. But yeah, the campaign is still under development, and there are a lot of places with of room for improvement. Unfortunately the setting isn't something I can change much, since it's built around an underground military facility. The big things I've failed to convey properly is that you're going back up through the previous areas in the third level, as well as what is supposed to happen with the APC when you turn on the generator. Also I haven't put in any real clues on what to do with the Geiger counter. Regarding the number of infected, the finale will spawn more the faster you go through it, so stopping to heal and pick up supplies will take a lot of load off your back. I'm working on lengthening the campaign with an another outdoor map, with machine gun turrets:
