I'm happy with what the Bears have done so far, assuming they can get a decent DT in FA or the draft, but I'll be pretty crushed if they don't re-sign Wootton.

Yeah, Pepper's first couple of years with the Bears were insane. He is still an extremely good player, just not 18 million good. He will help some team out a lot next year.

Yes, it would be another hole to fill next year, but it would atleast get filled for this year and let them focus on a different spot in the draft
