Not that high on the main Invasion Attack card due to repetition and lack of a heavy title defense, although I'm sure it will still be very good. Definitely like the junior defense headlining Korakuen instead of being relegated to a midcard slot on a big show on the other hand.

He says it almost constantly haha. It's subbed as "don" in the second video though it wasn't subbed in the first, then he pulls a Taguchi's Dodon card so he goes don dodon don, that same pronunciation.

ahh. It's Japanese onomatopoeia along the same lines as "bang" or "crash," or also (in this case) kinda like "ta-da". and sometimes you say things like "yoi...don!" to casually mean "Ready, go!". But Nakamura being Nakamura, if I remember the video correctly he starts doing it because it's amusing that he was saying "don!" to place each card down and then out comes Taguchi's one.

It's not that kind of test.
Is there any way to get a collection of NJPW entrance music without ripping lovely versions from Youtube? I feel like it would make for good running music. Legal means preferred but not required. I think a CD was posted in one of the past NJPW threads but I'm not sure I'd be able to order it, so digital downloads would be preferred.

I don't even have a Japanese iTunes account and I freaking live here. Japanese CDs are stupid overpriced, just rip the YouTube ones to MP3 and buy a shirt or something else instead. I'm not sure I'd recommend spending that much money for iTunes cards and leaving money captive on an account only to buy some puro themes.

BAEST MODE!!!
So we knew Nakamura's decision was leading to something with Okada, but this is very interesting...

quote:

This is apparently to plant seeds for an Okada vs. Nakamura program down the line, but not during this Okada title reign. The idea is that Nakamura chose Tanahashi’s title instead of Okada’s, because Okada is his stablemate in the Chaos group and frequent tag team partner, while Tanahashi is his rival that pinned him both at the Tokyo Dome on 1/4, but also at the New Beginning show on 2/9 in Hiroshima.

That could be Dave choosing the wrong words, but it sounds like Okada is losing the title before most of us assumed. Dave also said recently that AJ Styles is getting such a large push that it might backfire, I wonder if AJ is going to win the title in Yokohama.

Yeah, that struck me as odd as well, but I took it to more mean more that the program might be delayed rather than that he's necessarily dropping it soon. I personally think Nakamura would be a great choice as the next champ though since he'd have the credibility but be fresh.

AJ winning the belt on or near his debut would be a mistake IMO, but their bookers have earned the benefit of the doubt from me, so I'm happy to wait and see when it comes to NJPW.

I kinda agree but on the other hand everybody freaked out when Okada beat Tanahashi the first time.

AJ managed to stay pretty good despite of spending 12 soul destroying years in TNA so imagine how good he'll be in a company that isn't a horrible joke. It's like when Goku removes his weighted training clothes.
