I felt so torn about this film when I heard it was coming out. On one hand it's meant to be an artistic, intelligent scifi set in Glasgow (or maybe just filmed here? I'm not sure) and I can't think of anything more I'd want in a film. On the other hand, though, I tried to read the book when I was a teenager and couldn't finish it because it creeped me out so much. I'm a wuss, I know, but something about when you find out what's actually going on with the men she picks up really disturbed me. So in other words, the film sounds like it would be amazing, but I probably won't be going anywhere near it because the book scared the crap out of me ten years ago.
