In the Spent Coal Mine global dungeon immediately south of Mushroomson Village in Revolution, there is a door that I can't open and it's been bugging me because I'm most of the way through Ragnarok now. The clue is "You can't pass without evil powers." Does anyone know what the requirements are to open this door? Is it even later in the game? I have all the titles and coins from Revolution so I have no goddamn idea what I'm missing and it's driving me bonkers.

I just spent like an hour getting to the bottom of the Demon Maze as soon as it opened up and there wasn't even anything at the end.

The demon maze is this game's post-game dungeon, you can tell because it's literally the first thing that opens up in the final scenario. Also please tell me you found all five Angel Diaries, this is really important to me.

You need to beat quest 73 first for something to pop up there. And quest 72 so you know what the dungeon is for. Also you may want to equip one of the drain axes, or at least one of the skills from those.

Yes I have all five Angel Diaries and I've had Drain Axe + equipped for a long time once I realized how ridiculous it was. I'm just a little burned out making my way through the whole maze getting all the equipment and opening five gates at the end only to find an empty room. Then I realize I still have a handful of quests to go and now I'm level 90+ and I'm not sure how I feel about how overpowered I am.

Time Trial also starts you off at a set level (though it does allow you to take any piece of equipment you have and any party members in there.) so you could probably retry some quests that way. It also skips all the special attack animations (except for the bosses.) You might want to hold off on those level downs since the time trial quest 77 recommends you be around level 99 for that one.

I really expected to have a harder time with the Debt Bird, but I ground up to 255 in ABYSS and I was able to kill that and finish the map without even needing a Porta-Goddess.

Are there other killdozer enemies that spank you so hard you have to avoid fighting them until you are a god? I know the Mammoth that requires those cats to slow it down, Athena's second form during the cash rush quest, and Debt Bird.

Oh dear, I only found out about this thread now? Darn! I was actually looking for new people to play the game with in multiplayer, considering that I can't necessarily rely on the official group or the few friends I have to be reliable sources for multiplayer forever. There is this wonderful group which seems to be inactive right now where goons used to hang out for the first game's multiplayer. I was thinking of getting it breathing again or the sake of getting it breathing, as the game's multiplayer is rather fun! Thus, I'm planning to hang out in the chat today if anyone wants to play a game or two. Cheers!

Talk to her twice near the bottom of the demon maze. Don't use her until you bought everything you want though, her special skill takes up a fuckton of money and she reduced my cash from a five-digit amount to 50 bucks in a couple of fights.

In either Revolution or Ragnarok, go to a Goddess Statue and warp to the lowest-most warp point. You'll notice they're new locales.
