Probably: Kassian (hopefully for no more than Richardson right now), Santorelli (hopefully for less than a million, but apart from the injury he was great and could probably ask for more), Tanev (gonna get paid ) maaaybe Schroeder although not if he wants more than what he's getting now and the same for Dalpe. Let Alberts walk (can we do this if he's LTIR?) and maybe don't resign Weber although he's looked okay on the PP.

E: Markstrom is earning more than Lack

Schroeder's probably the biggest question mark, he'll probably get packaged off in a trade over the summer, maybe along Edler or Kesler.

The goalie debacle wasn't completely on Gillis, it was also a combination of stupid decisions by Vigneault, and then Torts, a dumb fanboy owner, plus Luongo himself who was wanting to dictate a trade to Florida. I blame Gillis for dragging it out so long but it's not his fault for everything.

His 0.44 even-strength goals-per-game place him sixth in an elite group of OHL forwards the past 12 years who have broken 0.40: Patrick Kane, Seguin, Tavares, Stamkos, Landeskog, Ritchie, Bennett, Skinner, and Yakupov.

Out of Ritchie/Ehlers/Nylander/Virtanen I like Ritchie. Nylander is interesting but I think he'd get murdered in the Pacific.

The Vey trade was the only thing from the last two days the Canucks didn't completely gently caress up imo.

Canucks have 3 Swedish goalie prospects in that 24-26 cusp, between them and Rollie Melanson you have to believe at least one of them will pan out by the time the team is competitive again. Signing Miller would be a monumentally stupid move but hey the organization is run by a bunch of ehm2007 clowns now so oh well.
