So, my only complaint is that WG charge you like 5k silver for a Historical Battle's ammo. I sorta think it's dumb (why can't they just automatically provide you with/restrict the type of ammo you're using) since I'm a poor noobie who can't bear to part with that money.

If I want to get to the Hellcat, which branch should I go down? T40 or M8A1? It seems the M8A1 line stays turreted for a long time while the other one goes straight to old school TD.

Go with M8A1, because then you get to play the T49 at tier 5 instead of the Wolverine. T49 was just as fun as the Hellcat imo.

Not sure if it's Meltymaps thing, or 9.0 thing, but I get stuck in 3rd person view at a certain point in game, and cannot switch angles or go to sniper view at all. I'm literally stuck at that point in 3rd person with my tank going off to another direction. (edit: kinda like the screenshot below)  It has been happening about 3 times now, and I tried getting a JSON script using version of meltymaps instead of a xml version, which turned out be worse. Just unlocked the T21, is it safe to play it the same way I played the M7? On a side note, it seems to be virtually impossible to get into the Battle of Kursk with the T-34.

Apparently driving tanks is not the only hard thing for 43% drivers. Math is also hard. Watch a 43% KV-5 get Top Gun and also be completely terrified by a Nashorn and Hummel. Probably my closest game in a while. 4k damage in a Caernavron means a lot of left-clicking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSRegj0_2W0 On 9.0 mods, have anyone got Locastans map mod to work with turret direction on minimap? What worries me is that usually WoT plays like poo poo on my PC, with crashing and low fps (mostly due to my 5 years old computer, but whatevs), but this patch has been working flawlessly for me for now while quite a few of you guys have had issues. That can't be good.

Hey dudes, would you like to participate in the upcoming clan wars event? You are in luck! You don't need to grind out a million tier tens. All you need is to get a good tier eight and play it well! Here is a list of good tier eights:
The T23E3 is an utterly dogshit tank that won't be good even if it sees only tier seven matches. Fortunately, getting to play clan wars with your tier eight will get you some clan wars practice and open some doors for whenever you get a tier ten. You'll also probably earn some gold to help ease the pain and suffering of grinding tier nines through a sea of tier ten matches.

Another developer confirmed bug: microfreezes on first shot fired and when tanks are destroyed within render distance. Edit: the fix given earlier solves performance and micro-freeze issues on some computers. It's worth a try. There's a bunch of lines that are hit or miss for people. If you play the AT-2 and don't like it, for example, it's probably best to start playing something else.

No, you play the T21 like a light anti-scout, your job is to sweep between the line and your backfield stuff and catch tier 5 light tanks that make it through, or engage tier 6 and 7 lights and hope the tank destroyers you're sweeping for aren't total fuckheads. The T21 is basically a Chaffee that trades OTM accuracy for better agility and a more survivable profile, it's made for rounding up ELCs and 59-16s. If you survive all that, then you go and annoy the gently caress out of people late game by permatracking or slinging gold into engines. I've finally made my way to Pershing, so I'm doing better, but the T20 was a slog. Just being melted by everyone and everything was disheartening, I really should have invested in Heavies.

Your big mistake is letting yourself get spotted/focused on. You will be equally punished in the Pershing for the same kind of play.

I every now and again try to find out if someone who has just abjectly murdered the English language is a native speaker or not. Very often they are and very often they are old enough to know better. The best/most depressing response I got (which I could find if old replay weren't broken) was a guy who admitted to being 22 and who would make pure phonetic spellers blush. He said something to the effect of: You don't need to know proper spelling and grammar in the modern world. You just need to be good at the internet. I'm not even going to try and recreate his terribly syntax. I literally had to go back to the replay and study it to figure out what the gently caress he was even trying to say. What "good at the internet" means is way beyond my comprehension. But I bet it's real stupid.
