My bad, I must have misunderstood. You said: 'You have time to take a shot or command Vista - trigger DD(DEX) if you try to do both. On 10+ you're fast enough for both, otherwise pick one. On a 6- you take -1 forward' I presumed that meant that I should roll Dex to try and do both. I got 7-9 so I took that as meaning a successful Volley, but now I see you probably meant I could then TRY and do both so I should have rolled for my Volley after that. Confirm that for me and I'll go back and edit it in.

Yeah I meant you could DDDex to have the chance to trigger both moves. Your 9 on DDDex means you can now roll for one of those moves, so roll Volley now. Sorry for the confusion! I got you Flame, thanks. I'm at Disneyland!!!

Sorry for the abbreviated post, I cut my hand and had to go to the hospital. I'm icing it, so my typing is a bit slow for now. Everyone should post except Doctor Idle, I'll get you on the next go around. Fictionally this makes sense to me, and plus my hand really hurts. At least you can still be Aided if someone decides to!

I was trying to break apart frozen turkey burgers with a butcher knife in the stupidest way imaginable  It's not that bad of a cut, only about an inch wide. It's kinda deep though, so moving my pinky and ring finger is pretty painful. Got my first 3 stitches and still made it to the theater in time to catch the back half of DotPotA

I haven't been posting because I'm a lazy butt, but I'll try to fix that. So I want to fire a warning harpoon shot at the greasers, but I want the shot to actually crack some of the pieces of the golem behind them, hopefully helping it gain some mobility or something. What do you want me to roll for that? Some kinda DD Dex and/or a Volley, I'm guessing?

It sounds like a Volley on the debris golem to me, since you're trying to damage it a little bit. The golem doesn't seem like he cares that much... but he might get pissed if you miss If you roll a partial, Defy Danger to avoid hitting the guy. Super sorry I haven't posted in forever, I've had a ton of school work lately. I'll have a post up On a 7-9, you can parley with the machine or robot by offering it data, power, or proper usage — no matter what level of intelligence it possesses. I think you played it right, although with a 9 on Parley, you need to offer concrete proof of your promise, ie whip out some juice for the machine! The toolkit in your gear is reflavored Adventuring Gear, right? Mark off one use of that when you hand over the juice.
