The report says Brillo will be aimed at ultra low-power devices with as little as 64 or 32MB of RAM.

that's like 1024 times more ram than actual low-power devices. then again, maybe Things that connect to the internet need a bit more memory.

google adds the silly "no 3rd party extensions" policy into chrome, disabling all user added extensions, yet crazy adware that turns every other word into a link can still be silently injected
you can even uninstall or change options in them directly from the extensions page
