Since my favorites have already been mentioned, I'll just place the one TNA theme someone linked to once, because I legitimately am amazed something this cool wound up in TNA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob3ZAPPjRhI Fauxhawk Express posted:It's been almost 15 years and I still don't know the lyrics to this song. The Corporate Ministry theme was used for all of like, what, five seconds? Anyway, it was awesome. It took the fun/goofy swagger of the original "No Chance in Hell" and made it holy poo poo get out of the ring. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZZLwl6zZSI

I really enjoy Brock Lesnar's current theme as much as anyone, but I've still got a place in my heart dedicated to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBKNKwZhjjs Also, someone mentioned Matt Striker's theme as one that was perfectly designed to annoy, so I've got to post the theme of, to this day, my favourite wrestling faction of all time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RizMEPfXExs The idea of evil, unstoppable censors that corrupt everything they touch into inoffensiveness has to be used in fiction more often.

Personally, I love Alberto Del Rio's original theme and use it as a ringtone. That first wind-up of the horns shows that this rear end in a top hat is arriving, then when the full song kicks in, he was usually out in whatever baller car he had. It was great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHNSgNfm7mk For some reason, I really liked Jerishow's, mainly because it's dumb as hell. Actually, I just really like "WELL, IT'S THE BIG SHOW...and Jericho," as if he's hopping from behind the Big Show to remind everyone he's there, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PrQbfp1e0w However, THIS theme is great for setting up that (depending on what time of the year it is) someone is gonna get hosed up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGjmvhuRt7k

Oh man, now I'm wondering whether it was Raven or Jimmy Hart who liked Killing Joke. Raven has mentioned that his theme music was specifically a mix of "Come As You Are" and "That Smell," hence my original description.

I can't wait for a full version of Ambrose new theme to come out. Also does the WWE Network use the original Oddities theme instead of the lovely ICP song, or is it some new thing?

Daniel Bryan posted:I feel the same way, though. I immediately noticed it upon hearing the WWE version for the first time, and it completely ruins it. The WCW version is better in every way. I liked the change. When Goldberg came to WWE he was sold on his "legend." The new version of the theme was grandiose and theatrical, it created this feeling of dread that the old theme never gave me that was perfectly in synch with the idea of this unstoppable monster who'd been unstoppable in WCW coming to unleash himself on a WWE that wasn't ready for him. The old theme was an adrenaline-pumper type theme, it was all about energy and getting the audience charged that Goldberg was coming to beat up a jobber or an NWO guy that everyone hated. It didn't fit with what WWE wanted Goldberg to do, which was have those long awaited Dream Matches against the top WWE guys from the Monday Night Wars. In that sense the change was a perfect fit.

So while the forums where down I was looking up old raw footage on youtube. The Oddities showed up, I'd never seen them before, and saw them coming out with rapping clowns. I was like "Is that Insane Clown Posse? No way, why the hell are they going out with what seems to be a jobber stable?" Then JR says they're the Insane Clown Posse, cue me scrambling through to try and find footage of them in wrestling. I can't believe I never knew about this.

They worked for both WWE and WCW at various times, and own their own promotion, while being, by all accounts, some of the best indie promoters. Even Terry Funk vouches for how cool they are as promoters.

Lets talk about CFO$ and their music. They seem to have replaced Jim Johnson for better or for worse. Here are a few of their tracks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sLlEy-MYcU Dean's theme. Sounds like a Jim Johnson ripoff, so they have that going for them at least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXjJoqREV4M Something a bit catchy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cjKOoEP6QI A good theme for a cool dude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XxbkUhvXGs And here is a theme for Tyson Kidd. It is a thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvR8OF5EkM8 Here is Seth's theme which is god awful in my opinion. There is not a single good thing about the song. Its too early to tell but I don't know if I want to like or dislike CFO$. Only time will tell.
