EURO GOONS ARE MOVING TO CONTAGION. CONTAGION. C O N T A G I O N.

Wildstar is a new action-oriented MMO that takes place on the newly discovered planet Nexus, developed by Carbine; a studio founded by 17 members of the core vanilla WoW team.
There's opposing factions, unique races, a combat system involving telegraphs (see below), a path system to point people towards the content they enjoy, player housing, and the whole thing looks like a Pixar movie.

Combat in Wildstar is done differently from your standard MMO fare (and is one of the primary selling points of the game). It's not tab-targeting, and it's not hack n' slash; it's done through telegraphs. Wildstar's combat system gives you plenty to do. The ability to end CC prematurely, like picking up a weapon after being disarmed, breaking a tether anchor on the ground, and holding movement keys to end stuns. Dashing and rolling to get out of telegraphs that you wouldn't be able to walk out of. And most importantly, almost everything is mobile.

RAIDS

Raiding in Wildstar is a 20 and 40 man affair. Your first steps are into Genetic Archives, a 20 man raid with 2-3 tanks, 4-5 healers, and 12-14 dps. Featuring Bosses, minibosses, challenges, and Base Population (Fancy words for trash), the instances are an affair into practicing loot management. At the end of Genetic Archives, every member should have gotten 1-3 pieces of loot for a full clear.

After you tackle Genetic Archives, you get to go into the Big Boy Raid, Datascape. Datascape is a 40 man raid with x tanks, x healers, and x dps. Again, the loot is set up to give every player at least one item a run. Bosses, minibosses, challenges, and rooms-that-are-bosses await you in this Tron/Molten Core hybrid

DUNGEONS

Dungeons are 5 man instances, with both Normal and Veteran modes. Normal modes are done while leveling up; they normalize your level and scale back any abilities you may have. Veteran modes are level 50 versions of the instances with endgame equipment and harder mechanics.

There is 4 Normal and Veteran dungeons at launch. The first two are unlocked at level 20.

ADVENTURES

Adventures are 5 man instances of open world zones, also coming in Normal and Veteran flavors. Adventures are mixups of different games (War of the Wilds, for example, is a huge parody of DotA/LoL), with non-conventional gameplay. Adventures unlock at level 15, and you get quests leading into them whenever you hit the correct level.

There is 6 Normal and 4 Veteran Adventures at launch. Veteran adventures award you with level 50 loot and Elder Gems (Think WoW's Valor Points/FFXIV's Tomestones of Mythology/Soldiery)

Shiphand Missions

Shiphands are scalable instances, starting at 13, for a party of 1-5. Shiphands are neat dungeons that are gimmicks of sci-fi shows. Shiphands are spread out as you level, giving you alternatives should you grow tired of Nexus. You find these ships around Nexus leveling hubs and hop in to go gently caress around on asteroid mining colonies and space stations.

Shiphands currently have no Veteran content, although that could be a possibility in the future.

BATTLEGROUNDS

Battlegrounds are modern twists on MMO classics. 2 maps, 10v10, with objective-based gameplay.

The first battleground is the Temple of Walatiki, a capture-the-flag based map. Masks are found near the centerpoints of the map, and taken back to your base. You can also steal flags from the opposing team's base. You need 5 points to win.

The second battleground is Hall of the Bloodsworn, an Assault and Defend objective map where one side pushes and the other defends through three different arenas. You have a main control point in the center of the room, and two secondary control points scattered about the room. The secondary control points do not capture the room, but they give the controlling side massive buffs and increase the capture/decay of the center point while held.

ARENAS

Arenas are 2v2/3v3/5v5 deathmatches where teams share spawn pools. You get a maximum of 5 lives per team (Split between all of your members), last team standing wins.

WARPLOTS

Warplots are massive 40v40 battle royales, accessible to all players once they hit level 50. Each team starts with a fortress that they can upgrade and customize with a vast assortment of modifications using special currency called War Coins. The upgrades include adding in raid bosses (that defend your base), robot cannons, gigantic rocket launchers, tanks, and more.

Victory is achieved by either destroying the enemies’ generators or through killing players and disabling structures. At the end, both teams are rewarded with Loot Bags, Prestige and Elder Gems. Warplots are a seamless blend of life’s two greatest pleasures: Property ownership and loser ownership.

You can take part in Warplots in two ways; One, form a Warparty, which, essentially, is a 40 man raid. This gives you total control over your Warplot and all of your members. The second option is becoming a Mercenary, where you fill in for Warplot parties that are short a few members. Mercenaries have no say in who they fight for or how base defense works, but you get all of the rewards of a Warparty with none of the logistical nightmares.

WildStar Flick: Warplots

WildStar Flick: Classes

WARRIOR - (TANK/DPS) - Video
For ages, warriors throughout the galaxy would slice and dice their enemies with swords, only inevitably to find themselves confronted with something uncuttable. But then someone came up with the crazy idea of hooking a blade up to a fusion accelerator. The result? A marriage made in slaughterhouse heaven. Today's power swords come equipped with ten megatons of liquid awesome hurtage. In. Your. Fist. A power sword, arm cannon, and brute force means the warrior is ready for all comers!

SPELLSLINGER - (HEALER/DPS) - Video
For centuries, the number of bullets Spellslingers could shoot per second was an infuriating bottleneck. Then, belatedly recalling that they were ambidextrous, they added a second pistol to their arsenal. The rest is exit wound history. With pistols, sigils, and agility, Spellslingers are as tough to hit as they are quick on the draw!

STALKER - (TANK/DPS) - Video
Guns may have better range and cause less muss, but where's the fun in that? Claws of every conceivable length, shape, sharpness, balance, and reflectivity give the discriminating Stalker no end of options when it comes to slicing open every artery at once. Just because you're invisible doesn't mean your opponents' innards have to be. Claws, devices and nano-skin gives Stalkers more assassination options than you can spray an artery at.

ESPER - (HEALER/DPS) - Video
While others waste time swinging clunky metal swords at you, you'll be ventilating them with an indestructible wit-sharpened stiletto forged from 100% superego! Unlike their flimsy milquetoast steel counterparts, your psy-blade projections be flung with deadly abandon among your cerebrally disadvantaged victims! Espers use psychic abilities to charge up their psyblades and projections. Brain power never felt so good!

MEDIC - (HEALER/DPS) - Video
Does shocking others "resonate" with you? If so, your aspiring inner intern will be Delighted Upon Arrival with the Awe-n-Shock Resonators Mark IX. Heal your enemies and boil your friends with last year's prize-winner for Most Excruciating Surgical Appliance! Smells like this wild-cardio just got wilder! Medics user resonators, auras, and probes to deal and heal damage. Bedside manner? MISSED THAT CLASS!

ENGINEER - (TANK/DPS) - Video
"Concealed" weapons are for grandmas! Grow a pair by grabbing LaunchCorp's Launch-O-Matic QT-Pi Ultra-Standard and fire some rocket-propelled attitude adjustment into the awe-struck face of anyone who gets in your way. Sure, the launcher's sheer power might just dislocate the joints in both your arms, but wait until you see the other guy's! Launchers, bots and exo-suits mean engineers are more than just grease monkeys: they're blood monkeys!

______________________________________________________________________________________

It isn't a themepark MMO without arbitrary factions:

(WARRIOR/ENGINEER/STALKER/MEDIC/SPELLSLINGER/ESPER)
OUTCASTS. RENEGADES. SCRUFFY.

After centuries of wandering the Fringe in their ramshackle fleet, humans are ready to settle down on Nexus using grit, backbone, and some old-fashioned elbow grease. And if those Dominion bastards are looking for a fight? Bring it on!

(WARRIOR/ENGINEER/MEDIC)
ROCK-SKINNED. FEARLESS. HUNG OVER.

Banished from their homeworld after a bloody war with the Dominion, the Granok are a race of skull-cracking, hard-charging galactic mercenaries that have come to Nexus to kick rear end and drink beer. Not necessarily in that order.

(STALKER/SPELLSLINGER/ESPER)
SMALL. SCRAPPY. TREE-HUGGING. YIFF.

Small but scrappy, the Aurin are a race of forest dwellers whose homeworld was ravaged by the Dominion. They might be into hugging trees, but they're more than ready to bare tooth and claw to defend their new home on Nexus.

(WARRIOR/ENGINEER/STALKER/MEDIC/SPELLSLINGER)
INTELLECTUAL. MOROSE. DECOMPOSING.

Cursed with a degenerative disease after delving into the forbidden secrets of alchemy, the Mordesh have come to Nexus to find a cure. Being a space zombie can be complicated. Unleashing dark and deadly disciplines on the Dominion? Much simpler.

(WARRIOR/ENGINEER/STALKER/MEDIC/SPELLSLINGER/ESPER)
WEALTHY. DISCIPLINED. SUPERIOR.

Long ago, the Cassians were chosen by the Eldan to establish the Dominion - and they're going to make sure the pathetic vermin infesting the galaxy don't forget it. Destiny is a terribly heavy burden, and the Cassians bear it with style.

(WARRIOR/ENGINEER/STALKER/MEDIC)
CALCULATING. EFFICIENT. REMORSELESS.

Engineered by the Eldan themselves, the Mechari are a race of highly-efficient killing machines that make it their business to eliminate traitors and spies on Nexus. Sense of humor? Not one of their strong points.

(WARRIOR/STALKER/SPELLSLINGER)
SAVAGE. BLOODTHIRSTY. BRUTAL.

Forged in the heat and dust of their savage homeworld, the Draken have come to Nexus to prove they are the most badass warriors in the galaxy. Eviscerations, disembowelments, and decapitations will definitely be involved.

(ENGINEER/MEDIC/SPELLSLINGER/ESPER)
TINY. BRILLIANT. PSYCHOTIC. THE BEST.

Nearly as brilliant as they are sociopathic, the Chua are mischievous inventors who develop advanced weapons and technology for the Dominion. Science has never been more fun – or agonizing.

Your path is a choice made at character creation which determines what extra content the world dishes up for you. Generally, they respond to the player personalities in the Bartle test (killer, explorer, socializer, etc). It also gives you access to certain unique abilities late game (Scientists gets capital city portals, Explorers gets air brake, etc), and unique Path specific costumes.

  • SCAVENGER HUNT - Ancient artifacts? Check. Remote, inaccessible locations? Check. Fearless explorers who laugh in the face of danger? Oh yeah.
  • STAKING CLAIM - Nexus ain't big enough for everyone, and second place sucks. So get out there, plant your flag, and claim this planet for your allies.
  • SURVEILLANCE - Get your secret agent on! There's a war out there, and you need to set up remote surveillance devices to keep an eye on the enemy.
  • TRACKING - Ready to hunt? Track enemies, creatures and strange anomalies through the unforgiving terrain of planet Nexus. Epic rewards? You know it.

  • CATALOG - Knowledge is power. Which is good, because Nexus has a lot of knowledge that needs to be collected and catalogued. Time to power up!
  • CHEMISTRY - Nexus is full of exotic materials and alien compounds just waiting to be studied. Are some of them ridiculously dangerous? No doubt about it.

  • RESCUE OP - Listen up, Soldier! We have civilians that have been taken hostage by the enemy, and we need you to get 'em out of there! Are we clear? Get moving!
  • SWAT - SWAT: Special Weapons And Tactics. Know what it really means? Shiny new toys! Test advanced military hardware on your foes. Mercy? Not part of the equation.
  • HOLDOUT - CONQUER - Are you ready to lock, load, and start taking care of business? Defend your territory against waves of hostile enemies. No guts, no glory!
  • HOLDOUT - SECURITY - No one likes a thief. That's where you come in. Defend your loot against dirty underhanded criminals, and crack some skulls with the hammer of justice!
  • HOLDOUT - FIRST STRIKE - Hit 'em hard, and hit 'em fast! Strike your targets and destroy them before they call in reinforcements, then bask in the glow of your badassitude!
  • HOLDOUT - PROTECT - Being a hero ain't easy... but it's time to step up. Defend allies against incoming waves of hostiles, ensuring they survive another day!

[*]THE SETTLER - Video
Exclusive Content:

  • EXPANSION - That town ain't going to improve itself. So step up, strap on a toolbelt, and get to work building things that make everyone's life a little easier.
  • CIVIL DEFENSE - Town guards can handle the small stuff. But when the biggest, meanest monsters on Nexus come a-knockin', you'll step up and save the day!
  • SUPPLY CACHE - Who has time to sit around and wait for vital supplies to show up on a platter? Put on those boots and bring home the bacon!
  • INFRASTRUCTURE - Are you ready for some serious real estate development? Then do your civic duty and build hospitals, taverns, and spaceports for your friends and allies.
  • PUBLIC SERVICE - Some people just don't have the grit and backbone to get the job done. Good thing you do. Achieve tasks for the greater good, and get rewarded for it.

Thank you a cat on an apple for this tradeskill write-up

No MMO is complete without crafting! In WildStar, crafting is done through Tradeskills: once you reach Level 10, you will receive a Quest Notification via your Datachron from various Craftmasters, who will give you a short tutorial on how manufacturing and harvesting Tradeskills work, and you will be able to choose a total of two from either category. Additionally, you will unlock your two Hobbies, Farming and Cooking. Currently, the Tradeskills are as such:

Manufacturing
  • Weaponsmithing - Creates every weapon type in the game
  • Armourer - Creating Heavy Armor and Energy Shields
  • Outfitter - Creating Medium Armor and Support Systems
  • Tailor - Creating Light Armor and Bags
  • Technologist - Consumables, Gadgets, and similar Miscellaneous
  • Architect - Decor for Housing :getin:
  • Cooking - Foods.
- Free hobby, doesn't count against your tradeskills.
Harvesting
  • Mining - Ores, Gems, Crystals
  • Survivalist - Leather, Meat, Bones, Wood, etc..
  • Relic Hunter - Relics, Omniplasm
  • Farming - Herbs, Produce, etc..
- Free hobby, doesn't count against your tradeskills.
Here is an interactive chart which denotes what you can gain from each of the Tradeskills / Hobbies, as well as how they all relate to one another. For a simple picture:

Q: That's great and all, but why should I do this dumb crafting thing in WildStar?

Quite simply, properly crafted gear and items offer some of the highest stats in the game, and will even outperform Quest rewards and standard PvP rewards. At Level 50, crafted gear is going to be the first step to take into both Elder Game PvE and PvP. Is that not enough for you? Well, the Architect Tradeskill also offers Decor items for your all-important House that you sure as hell be keeping pretty, for Rest EXP (Which benefits level 50s as well) and for your swanky pad.

Q: Oh, so to be powerful, you have to grind your Tradeskills?

Not at all! Following the basic path of crafting on Tradeskills, you will unlock at least to the fourth tier, Artisan level crafting, without even completing all of your tasks! Additionally, you can take miniature daily quests, called Work Orders, to receive benefits just for doing what you would have done anyway. If there's ever a part that feels tedious, it might be harvesting, but there's no need to do it for hours at a time, or even an hour! Resources come quickly and can be obtained whilst you quest. Not only that, you can get resource plugs for your house, for guaranteed, uncontested nodes. You can also harvest your neighbor's nodes for exp while they get a cut of the reward.

Q: You mentioned a maximum of two (2) Tradeskills. Are they locked in forever?

Nope; however, whenever you swap a Tradeskills to another that is not the first tier, Novice level, you will incur a cooldown. Additionally, after your first free swap, subsequent swaps will cost you 5 Gold. The cooldown is dependent on how long since you last swapped. This is very important. If you swap from one skill then immediately to another as it is off-cooldown, your cooldown will skyrocket to up to 9 days. However, if you wait two days after your ability to swap is off-cooldown, then you will only need to wait 22 hours before your next swap is available. More importantly, your progress will not reset if you swap a Tradeskill. With careful planning and a little bit of patience, you can easily perform everything yourself, but naturally things are infinitely easier if you have a crafting buddy to cover your needs!

Q: Still not convinced.

Did I mention that crafting is an interactive mini-game? Crafting anything that does not use a Power Core, you have to use additives to guide your crafting schematic to a target, and each individual craft becomes a puzzle by its own right! For things using a Power Core, primarily gear, you are able to choose from a selection of stats in a sort of matching game and control the power of the stats, where over-charging becomes possible but can cause you to sometimes fail crafting! Is that 1 extra Moxie worth a 5% chance of failing the craft? Give it a try, cupcake. We dare you.

WildStar has a $60 box cost and a $15 a month subscription fee - but there's a catch. The Pricing Plan

WildStar will have a typical subscription system, but with the added layer of the C.R.E.D.D. system, which is somewhat similar to EVE's PLEX. Players will essentially be able to earn currency in-game that they can then sell for gold to other players, allowing them to pay for time. This will both extensively cut down on the amount of gold sellers in the game, and allows you to purchase game time without having to spend a cent.

Keep on keeping on!

Tupper posted:

So while I'm sitting here bored and waiting for Headstart because I otherwise have no life, I wrote up a list of addons that I've used or found interesting in digging around Curse and related sites. But first, a primer on Wildstar addons!

What are Addons?

Addons (for those completely unfamiliar with the concept in MMOs) are little bit of user-written script that run within a sandbox in the game. This sandbox is constructed by the developers and allows clients to modify their interface and how the interact with the world. They can range in complexity from simple shortcuts to hyper-complicated inter-addon communication systems, with any kind of purpose. They aren't considered cheating (with a few exceptions, but that's pretty much subjective) and are fully and completely supported by the developers.

That being said, Wildstar's API (the tools that let addons talk to the game) is AMAZING. Compared to its closest competitor (WoW) it is far faster, more dynamic in loading/unloading new code, and has much more access to game functions. This lets us have all kinds of fun, from adjusting FoV to automating portions of the game that some might not like (Simon Says, for instance).

What's more is that you can install or update addons while the game is running, and simply /reloadui. The game will parse the new addons and new code if present and load it. This is a huge change from (once again, for example) WoW where you had to reboot the client on pretty much any major addon change. This makes development a lot more convenient, as well as those times when you're in a raid and that guy doesn't have boss mods installed and everyone has to wait 10 minutes while his poo poo computer relaunches WoW. Now you only have to yell at him to install it, and then /reloadui.

How do I install these stupid things?

There's actually a few ways. There's always the manual method-- but I'd only recommend this for people familiar with browsing around files and folders. If you've installed WoW addons manually this is slightly more complex. The folder you need to dump stuff into is %AppData%\Roaming\NCSOFT\WildStar\addons. This may differ based on your installation method, but it should work for 99% of people.

The second (and third, actually) ways are via third-party applications. The Curse client is written by Curse.com and supports their own addon repository. It actually isn't terrible, and it is stupid easy to use. Go to http://www.curse.com/client and download it there. Browse addons, click install. That's literally it. It'll even tell you when there's updates available, which is why I use it.

There's another application called MissionControl that's necessary if you have a ZIP file that you want to install. You can find it here. All you have to do is open it up, drag and drop the ZIP into the window. Once again, pretty easy. Note that MissionControl doesn't handle update checking.

Okay shut up I know how to install this crap now, tell me about the super elite best addons for poopsockers

Here I'll list off the "essentials." This is pretty subjective. I'll also link the Curse page if available, which will let you click to install the addon.

Essentials
CustomFoV - Lets you change your FoV-- the field of vision. Its hard to explain without trying it. By default you're seeing a 50 deg cone of vision. This lets you expand that cone. Helps a ton with eye fatigue and strain. This is almost completely essential.
TrackMaster - Draws a line from you to selectable nodes/locations/whatever. This is a framework for other essential mods and man it is ridiculously useful.
Steer - Locks your RMB on. Using this together with KeybindFreedom (see below) turns this game into an action hack'n'slash. Personally strongly, strongly recommend.
KeybindFreedom - Lets you bind anything to anything. I use it almost exclusively to bind stuff to LMB/RMB. IMPORTANT NOTE: Binding LMB/RMB kind of fucks with your ability to interact with in-game objects, especially as a Scientist.
TrackRewards - MUST INSTALL USING MISSIONCONTROL - An addon by our very own favorite goon hit button, this works together with TrackMaster to draw a line to the closest mob/node/whatever you need for your current quest.
GalaxyLibrary - Made by the ultra-sexy LemonKing, this is a full library of items and gear in the game. Kind of like AtlasLoot on steroids. Great for looking at that amazing gear you'll never get.
BijiPlates - Replaces the default nameplates with these new ones, they're pretty fancy. They used to lag people a poo poo-ton but apparently this is fixed.

Combat Oriented
Trackmaster: Subdue - Subdue is a CC mechanic not unlike Disarm. You can run to your weapon and pick it up to end the effect early. This draws a line from you to your weapon. Pretty much essential.
TheZone - For world PvP, this is HILARIOUSLY useful. Lists all characters (hostile too!) around you in a 270m radius and lets you see a ton of info about them, including direction, class, level, HP, currently in combat or not... Figure it out.
SAS - I haven't tried this one yet. Apparently it auto-swaps action sets based on context. Pretty neat if it works.
AnotherSCT - Formerly BetterCombatText, this lets you heavily customize the scrolling combat text.
sCastbar - Replaces the default cast bar, adds some improvements. Personally I use PotatoUI.
PotatoUI - Kind of like XPerl in that its a total unitframe replacement. Not bad, but honestly the default frames are pretty good as-is.

Tradeskills/Social/Inventory/Etc
TapThat - Hilariously, does most of the quest-oriented quicktime events for you like Simon Says and MASH F LIKE AN IDIOT. Does not do CC prompts, though, for obvious reasons.
Scrappy - Much better UI for salvaging junk. Was debating putting this in "essentials" because I hate the default salvaging UI.
ezSocial Bar - Better on-screen UI for social poo poo. Shows people online, toasts, etc.
IconLoot - Much better looting notifications. Also debated putting this in "essentials."
TheVisitor - Lets you visit people's houses even if you're not neighbored with them! But they have to have their houses open to the public. Which is on by default I think. So this is potentially a very useful addon.
JunkIt - Puts a button in the vendor UI that lets you auto repair, sell grays, and etc.

Weird poo poo
SAMotes - Another hit button addon, allows you to use stupid poo poo like :goonsay: and :yosbutt: in chat. IT EVEN ANIMATES. Won't work if you use something like BetterChatLog or whatever.
House Animation Kit - Lets you macro and motion tween house stuff. So you can have like a giant rolling hay bale or something. This looks pretty amazing.

There's other addons out there, and feel free to post your own favorites. I just grabbed a bunch of what I personally used and liked, and hopefully some people get some use out of it. See you in the Headstart, cupcakes! :shobon:

You should totally check out the second episode of Wildstar Plotz that A Cock Shaped Fruit posted about a thing I made with the Wildstar housing because it's pretty cool (which I say with every ounce of bias towards thinking I'm great that I can muster).

Wow, that thing is pretty well done. Kudos to you sir.

I'll be in/running a non-goon affiliated Exile guild on Pergo. So if anyone doesn't want to carebear it up or be Dominion, feel free to PM me.

Haha, it's not often you see mob buffs in patch notes. I only ran Stormtalon's Lair once just before the Open Beta expired, but I certainly wasn't left with the impression that it was too easy.

Re: Stormtalon Lair
The end boss is relatively easy.
The lesser bosses take much more coordination.
Even the 'trash' was capable of killing people if you pulled an add - you gotta save your interrupts for specific things in this dungeon.

Make them read through the last 30 pages of the old thread. If they make it through and still want in, let them.

The only boss i felt was genuinely challenging in either dungeon was the first boss of Stormtalon's Lair. There's no gotcha abilities that will wipe you once and then never again which means knowing how to play is more important than knowing how the fight works.

The phase transitions of that boss are what usually gently caress me when healing that dungeon because of that disarm. If I can't get interrupt armor on the tank before the transition, the boss disarms everyone and will probably agro me before the tank finds his weapon.

Edit: Or to be specific the last phase transition.

If they still want in after that they're broken in the head and should be shunned at all costs

Warriors have emergency reserves and i'm sure engineers and stalkers have something to deal with that but most people think interrupt armor = stun stopper, and not something that blocks disarms and stuff, too.

Weird, I swear I had bound Mouse3 and Mouse4 to blinks on my medic the day beta ended.

My many CoX, always poised, always ready, always willing to thrust.

My friend said open beta players get some in-game bonuses (and didn't give me a drat clue what they were) at release. I didn't log into open beta, but I played a poo poo ton of closed. Am I going to get whatever these things are?

Just learned about this and I'm Wi-curious. Coupla questions...

People from the previous beta keep mentioning when the servers are up. If you pre-order now, can you still mess around on them before the 31st?

Do races have unique abilities or any impact on gameplay other than limiting your class selection? I don't see any information about classes having any gameplay effect at all, but I also can't find any confirmation that they don't.

Races are purely cosmetic aside from assigning the default location you start when you land on Nexus. Keep in mind not only can you choose the OTHER location if you want (like to group with someone) but you can absolutely go back and do the one you didn't do later to get your completionist kicks (or lore and Path XP).

Keep on keeping on!
All open beta players get the full Highwayman costume at release, which was originally just handed out over a period of 4 weeks to CBT players.

CBT players get the Back to the Future hoverboard if they got a character to level 10.

Plus boomboxes for logging in daily.
