Science doesn't prove atheists are exclusively correct by their lack of belief, yet they still manage to bring the same zeal and hubris to their meager understanding which causes people to be disgusted by organized religion. Not only are they the people they claim to pity/hate but they have managed to subvert science into something against faith (which it is not) and continually demonstrate a lack of understanding of science's fundamental principles. If you could open a wormhole and travel say 1,000 light years away from the Earth, and you were able to bring sophisticated telescopic equipment with you so you could look through it and see the surface of the planet (like Google Earth), the light the telescope would receive would be 1,000 years old, and you would see the Earth as it was 1,000 years ago. Similarly, if we could figure out some kind of quantum entanglement communication device that could communicate instantly to anyone anywhere in the universe (like the ansible from the Ender novels), if you found a civilization say 1,000,000 light years from Earth, if they have advanced telescopic technology and could find the Earth and resolve fine details, they would be seeing the Earth as it was 1,000,000 years in the past, and they could send us data and images of it. Given the above, it should be technically possible to see Earth at any point in the past, given the right conditions. It should be possible to see and study one of the impact events that caused mass extinction in real time. It should be possible to actually see what dinosaurs looked like, and how they behaved, with a big enough telescope at the right distance and a way to get the information to us faster than light.
