Exactly. He has just enough versatility both defensively and with his speed that he's a great backup. Almost perfect really. He should not be everyday though, which was one of the problems in 2013.

Royals get swept at home by the Astros (in not particularly competitive fashion), then go on the road to Toronto who has won 9 straight and of course KC wins the first two games of the series. While getting thrown out at first by Bautista in both games. Baseball is weird.
