Option 3: The Prince The Commander has already received his reward, the prince and the family as a whole would benefit from him having lands of his own to rule. The duchy can always be passed off to another when he receives his father's inheritance, after all.

Option 1 This proposal is mad, this is no raid for loot and glory, at best we will spend much and gain only the ire of the Cross-worshippers. Our gods are strong and all know it already, no need to run off like a spoiled whelp looking for a fight.
