it was pretty cool but i've always had a hard time playing competitive couch games because everyone i have ever known has been really bad at them. cooperative stuff works out a lot better. i remember playing kirby super star co-op a lot as a kid and that was a blast. probably rented that game enough times to buy it 3 times over.
