Effectronica posted:the beatles did go a lot farther out than most rockers did in the 60s, though. you might not like their horn-heavy or experimental stuff as much as she loves you, but it was revolutionary at the time. The beatles were pretty innovative and not just for the sake of being different and I respect that. It's not that I dislike them its just that I never find myself actively desiring to listen to their music. The stones weren't original in any way but they did do they blues rock thing pretty well.
