Out in the American West, the Hoover Dam remains the treasured pinnacle of power. It alone stands as a vital source of electricity and water; control over its facilities has been bitterly fought and hard-won.

Most recently, the New California Republic came to arms against Caesar's Legion. Although the NCR managed to hold the Legion back and win the battle, the war is far from over. The Legion maintains several strongholds, particularly the slave camp of Cottonwood Cove as well as The Fort on the Colorado River, from which the Legion's military leaders strategize and plot in anticipation of their next move.

Of course, reducing the Mojave Wasteland to its political struggles is a gross oversimplification. The Wasteland is full of townfolk and wanderers, factions and cults, wealth and poverty. Every Wastelander has a story; every individual has fought tooth and nail for their right to live. Though this is a world full of danger, it is also one of hope. With such a small population, reputations follow people like loyal dogs. People are remembered for their good deeds, and reviled for the sorrows they cause.

But in this harsh environment, the name of the game is pure survival. Decent-hearted folk just try to get by while other, more nefarious sorts plot and connive for total control.

Can you protect the Mojave Wasteland from yet another fall?

Mafia: New Vegas is designed for 13-15 people. This is my first game, so we're going to keep it simple. No night-talking. Scum will have a googledoc and a night-kill. There will be town roles of doctor, cop, and vigilante. I do have a couple other tricks up my sleeve, but it just wouldn't be Vegas if I didn't keep those cards close to my chest, now would it?

As a warning: flavor is very, very closely linked to alignment and role, so be careful and use your due diligence.
