Well, maybe not. His daughter addressed that the guy exists. His father said someone was sent to talk to him. And he found his bagels. So maybe he's not so crazy after all.

I hope I wasn't the only one who was checking to see whether the daughter and her friend specifically addressed the Mystery Man when he was at the door. There's still a part of me that's thinking that maybe the Cop guy actually handed her the beer (a-la Tyler Durden) and he's still going to end up being insane (or whatever his dad is going through).

One thing I wonder which I don't know if they answered or not: Did anyone actually witness anyone disappearing? The Pilot made it seem like people vanished out of sight. I didn't know if anyone had actually seen anyone, because then that might shine some light on what happened. Did they just "blip" out? Were they lifted into the sky by a white light? Did they transport out like on Star Trek?
