Is tonight the greatest moment in Dominick Cruz's life?

No.

The greatest moment in my life was realizing that I didn't need a belt to be happy.

Hope Te Huna enjoyed his moment of glory entrance. Maybe he can do it again in the Australian regional circuit

Here's my bad trip report: The crowd went absolutely nuts for Te Huna's walk in and basically any time he did anything that looked like a punch, but went dead silent after the armbar and left almost immediately to talk loudly about what a lovely Fight it was and act how New Zealanders always do when we lose at sports (drunk and mopey). Biggest crowd reaction by far was for Daniel Hooker's win (who is the only fighter in the UFC who actually lives in NZ)
Also there were at least 2 fights in the audience that I saw and I could smell weed within an hour of being there - not sure how this rates against the live events in the U.S but there you go. Thanks for reading.

This thread is shameful. That card was nothing but great fights other than Soa getting wrestlefucked.

Actually very enjoyable fights for the most part but I was too busy drinking beer and explaining to a friend what these half naked men were doing to post anything. Seems like not many watched it anyways. :(

Even Magny did good things. The gently caress?

Te Huna wins the walkout.

EDIT - and gets soundly beat by a tiny little guy.

After watching a pretty good kickboxing fight and then one of the best grapple fights of the year, somehow my stream glitched and switched to a WSOF card with two fat guys shoving each other in an Indian casino and then two UFC washouts or something.

As do literally 95%+ of my live-mma experiences. Conviction, damnit.

Also, 3 pages for an event has to be a new record regardless of timezone.

Hioki Oliviera owned indeed, sad for Hioki though.

I think Lim vs Saffiedine only did two, and one page of that was made during Round 5 of the main event

Bob Whittaker tooled a guy who "Duke Roufus says great things about" and looks to have developed quickly to cover for the deficiencies he showed against Wonderboy. Namely he had way better footwork and his head movement improved out of sight which made Rhodes keep missing. None of that lead foot dragging around his back leg with his right hand cocked bullshit that got his head knocked off. Nice to see improvement from a young prospect.

Speaking of young prospects, Matthews looks like he was created to bring the UFC to the tween market. Big, muscly, Bieber lookalike. That loving takedown into mount holy poo poo!

Looking again I'm just shocked how tiny Marquardt looked compared to Te Huna, yet he still solidly manhandled him.

People! I'd like to say a couple words for you: If you have a dream in your life... go head! It's a possible! Go head! I can do that!
I'd like to thank you all for making my first GDT one of the least posted in GDTs of all time. It will now fade into peaceful obscurity like all of the participants in UFC Fight Night 43.
