It would be nice if they would let you know when they're making a joke or about to make a joke or just made a joke, because I tried watching like six episodes of it and maybe somebody edited out the humorous parts of it or something??? It's like Sports Night without the sports and usually night.

Oh look at the sheep who needs a laugh track to be told what's funny. Maybe you'd feel more at home with some multicam sitcom like the big bang theory where the sound of people long dead can brainwash your feeble mind into thinking something is funny. season one sucks throughout it picks up during season 2 and once Rob Lowe and Adam Scott show up it's pretty much smooth sailing from there. it shakes off the The Office dynamic and becomes a pretty good, funny, upbeat show

Ron Swanson is a libertarian and also a government employee. Now laugh. I do like seasons 2-4ish. Not as good it's big brother The Office but still pretty funny at times.

Not sure about Ron Swanson being a Libertarian because you never see him around a Library in any of the episodes. If you want to see a funny Tv show about a Librarian you should watch the "Raffi and Dirty Randy" episode of The League. It's the best example of Librarian Internet Humor on the Something Awful Humor eXchange and everyone should find it on the internet and share it illegally.

is it worth watching the show mostly just for april ludgate? i think i rnadomly watched the first 2-3 episodes late one night and it didnt seem like a bad show. i bet adam scott is actually really chill irl even though he looks like/comes off as if he may be a massive douche in most his roles.
